A baby boom is among us, with a whole bunch of Australian reality TV stars revealing they’re pregnant in 2023.

From The Block‘s Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson to The Bachelor franchise’s Helena Sauzier and Noni Janur, there’s hardly a show that the baby bug hasn’t touched!

Sally Geach and Jay Bonnell

The Real Love Boat Australia 2022‘s Sally Geach and Jay Bonnell have announced they are expecting their first child together.

Taking to Instagram on November 2, the couple revealed they’re expecting a “baby girl due April”.

The announcement was accompanied by a series of loved-up snaps of the couple and each of their daughters from past relationships, Ella and Charlotte.

The news comes after fans suspected the couple was back together after they seemingly split in early 2023.

However, neither officially confirmed that they’d called things quits at the time.

Simone Holtznagel and Jono Castano

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2018‘s Simone Holtznagel and boyfriend Jono Castano have announced they’re expecting their first baby in 2024.

“Entering our mum and dad era,” Simone penned on Instagram on October 12. “We are beyond excited to share that we are expecting a baby girl.

“Having kids is something we have always wanted and we cannot wait to navigate this new exciting chapter of our lives together.”

She concluded: “Due March 2024.”

The announcement was accompanied by a video of moments throughout the pregnancy so far, including sonograms, finding out the gender and sharing the news with family.

Michael Turnbull and Charlotte Cushing

The Bachelorette Australia 2015‘s Michael Turnbull and partner Charlotte Cushing have revealed they’re expecting their first baby together!

Taking to Instagram in October, Michael shared a clip of a developing polaroid that announced, “Baby Turnbull [is] due April 2024”.

He then teased whether their pending addition is a “boy or girl?”.

Nick and Lavinia Pembroke

Hunted Australia 2022‘s Nick and Lavinia Pembroke have announced that they’re having a baby boy and we love this for them!

On September 24, Nick broke the news on Instagram when he posted a photo with a baby romper captioned: “Bouncing baby boy on the way!”

The pair also shared a snap of their sonogram and an adorable clip from their gender reveal party. And despite being average Fugitives, we know they’ll make amazing parents!

Irena Srbinovska and Locky Gilbert

The Bachelor Australia 2020‘s Irena Srbinovska and Locky Gilbert have announced that they’re expecting their first child in early 2024 and we’re sobbing!

On September 20, Irena uploaded a gorgeous video to Instagram, sharing the news with her followers.

“2023 has been a year of surprises and now Locky and I are thrilled to share the biggest surprise of our lives—anticipating a new member in our family,” she wrote in the caption.

Irena, who’d experienced pregnancy struggles in the past, shared that the pair were “deeply sensitive to those who face the trials of infertility or have suffered loss.”

“Having navigated the rollercoaster of emotions ourselves, we extend our hands and hearts to those on a similar path,” she added.

“In the midst of life’s storms, may you find your rainbow soon.”

Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich

OG Aussie Bachelor Tim Robards and his wife Anna Heinrich have revealed that they’re expecting their SECOND child and we’re so happy for them!

On September 17, the pair took to Instagram to announce the big news.

“Turns out Elle (their daughter) was right. Bringing another little rascal into the world 2024,” they wrote over an adorable video of their two-year-old pretending to be pregnant.

And if their kids want to know how mummy and daddy met, all they gotta do is watch the first season of The Bachelor Australia!

Tim and Anna later shared photos and videos from their gender reveal party in October, which coincided with a 41st birthday celebration for Tim!

“I think Elle is psychic… Turns out she was right again and is getting a sister!” Tim penned on Instagram. “Another bday [sic] present for Dad as we tick off 41 years today…

“All feeling very grateful!”

Scherri-Lee Biggs and Daniel Venables

Celebrity Apprentice Australia 2021‘s Scherri-Lee Biggs has announced that she and her ex-AFL playing hubby, Daniel Venables, are expecting their first child.

The 33-year-old weather presenter shared the news on Instagram with a photo of a rabbit toy alongside some baby’s socks.

“There’s going to be lots of little socks around come Feb!” she penned, revealing their new addition’s future birth month.

Scherri-Lee and Daniel, 24, wed in March after getting engaged in December 2022.

Felicity Eggington and JJ Henry

Two-time Australian Survivor contestant Felicity “Flick” Eggington and her husband, JJ Henry, are expecting their second child together.

Flick — who appeared on Survivor in 2016 and in the first All-Stars season — took to Instagram on September 9 to reveal their new bub is due in 2024.

“We are SOOOOO EXCITED to finally share our amazing news that Baby Henry is coming in 2024,” she penned alongside a video compilation of her having an ultrasound and a pregnancy photoshoot.

“[First child] Mav is going to be the best big brother to his little brother or sister.

She added: “Also we would like to send our love to anyone struggling with fertility as we know this is a common thing. We hope your day comes very soon.”

In a subsequent post, Flick shared a series of photos from their photoshoot.

“So glad we don’t have to keep this a secret anymore,” she wrote.

Jacqui Faulkner and Jake Stephan

Farmer Wants a Wife 2021‘s Jacqui Faulkner is expecting a child with her partner Jake Stephan.

Taking to Instagram on August 27, the first-time mum-to-be said the couple has “a little baby boy on the way”.

“Due March 2024,” she revealed alongside pics from a pregnancy photoshoot. “A little gift in a hard time, and a whole new adventure for us.

“A mini Jake itself is a whole new adventure.”

Jacqui added that she had “endless thanks for the love and support” from her nearest and dearest.

“Big things. Endless love,” she concluded.

Carlie Hodges and Charlie Bangs

Just weeks after announcing their engagement, The Bachelor Australia 2021‘s Carlie Hodges and her bae Charlie Bangs revealed they’re having a baby!

Carlie, 36, shared on August 27 that “baby boy Bangs [is] arriving [in] January”, alongside an Instagram carousel full of pics that showed off her growing baby bump.

Several of her co-stars from Jimmy Nicholson‘s season — including his final pick-turned-wife Holly Kingston — shared their excitement for Carlie and Charlie’s news.

“Baby Bangs for Bachelor 2055,” Holly wrote, while Lily Price said the pregnancy was the “best kept secret yet”.

“Bring on Baby Bangs,” she added.

Layla Subritzky and Louis Cooper

Two-time Big Brother Australia star Layla Subritzky is not only pregnant, but she’s expecting TWINS with partner Louis Cooper.

The reality TV fave — who appeared on the show in 2012 and 2022 — took to Instagram in August to reveal the exciting news.

“It’s been years of waiting for the right time to meet you,” she penned alongside a series of Polaroid pics and sonograms.

“The Universe decided to bless us with TWO! See you in March babies.”

The 35-year-old also joked that she and Louis “cannot do things in halves”.

Naturally, the comment section was flooded with congratulations from fellow Big Brother stars.

“UMMMMM CONGRATULATIONS SIS,” 2022 competitor Aleisha Campbell penned.

Tully Smyth wrote: “SUCH WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Congratulations Angel.”

Meanwhile, two-time winner Reggie Bird said the news was “so bloody beautiful”.

Omar and Maz Slaimankhel

The Block 2022’s Omar Slaimankhel and his wife Maz have a baby on the way and we’re so excited for the pair.

As revealed in episode 311 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one spy sent us a photo of Maz sporting a very noticeable baby bump and she’s absolutely GLOWING!

Adrian Portelli and his girlfriend

The Block‘s controversial bidder Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli and his girlfriend [who wishes to remain private] are expecting a child!

On August 16, the Influencer Updates Australia Instagram page reposted a pic of the pair announcing their big news.

In the top right corner, there was a screenshot of a sonogram posted by Adrian’s girlfriend, captioned: “Can’t wait to meet the new addition” with a blue heart emoji. So we have a feeling they’re gonna have a boy!

And we’re kinda hoping Adrian will be bidding on one of The Block 2023 homes for his new family!

Tash Pavlou and Brad

The Block 2020‘s Tash Pavlou and her fiancé Brad are expecting another baby!

The couple made the announcement with a cute AF video posted to Instagram on July 16.

“Jan 2024,” Tash wrote, hinting at their second addition’s due date.

In the post, Brad teared up as Tash told him she was pregnant before another clip showed their one-year-old son Archie revealing the news to Tash’s parents by wearing a t-shirt reading “Big Brother Club”.

The soon-to-be parents of two also revealed the baby’s gender — a girl — with pink confetti-filled canons.

Raychel Stuart and Luke Jacobz

Reality TV mainstay Luke Jacobz and wife Raychel Stuart have announced they are expecting their first child together.

Just weeks after their June 2023 nuptials, the former X Factor Australia host took to Instagram to reveal the heartwarming news.

“2023 has been quite the year!” Luke wrote. “Wedding in June & a baby in November!

“We already have so much love in our home and can’t wait to welcome our bundle of joy.”

He added: “I’m so in awe of my incredible wife! She’s doing such a great job!”

The announcement was accompanied by a snap of Luke looking excited as he held Raychel’s stomach while their dog licked her.

The bump was covered by a baby onesie reading: “And then there were four.”

Emily Seebohm and Ryan Gallagher

The Challenge Australia 2022‘s Emily Seebohm and Ryan Gallagher are going to be parents!

The newly engaged couple revealed they’re going to welcome a reality TV baby in a wholesome AF Instagram video shared on July 10.

“We’ve had a little bump in the road,” they captioned the clip, in which they showcased Emily’s growing bump.

Then, written in sand, it was revealed “Baby Seebohm [is] due September.”

Many of Emily and Ryan‘s co-stars — including those from their respective stints on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! — shared their excitement in the comment section.

“Omg amazing news,” Cyrell Paule wrote. “I see doing the hippidy dippidy wasn’t just fun but also a blessing. Congratulations to u both.”

Meanwhile, Totti Goldsmith said: “I’m SOOOOO happy for you I could cry!!”

Mary Viturino and Conor Canning

Bachelor in Paradise 2020‘s Mary Viturino and Conor Canning‘s brood is growing to SIX, with the couple announcing they’re expecting another bub.

The duo shared the news on Instagram, dishing alongside an ultrasound that “another little Canning [is] on the way”.

Mary and Conor already share three daughters — Summer and Luna, plus Chanel, who is from a previous relationship of Mary’s.

The comment section lit up with congratulations from a number of reality stars, including newlywedded co-stars Alisha Aitken-Radburn and Glenn Smith.

“Amazing! Congratulations. Another Paradise bubba,” Glenn wrote, while Alisha penned: “You guysss [sic].”

The exciting news comes just a week after the pair revealed they were now engaged, with Conor popping the question in late June.

Shonee Bowtell and Matt Jamieson

Three-time Australian Survivor star Shonee Bowtell is going to be a mum!

The Season Three, All-Stars and Heroes v Villains fave took to Instagram on July 5 to dish that she and partner Matt Jamieson are expecting their first child together.

Sharing a mirror selfie of her cradling her bump alongside her baby daddy, Shonee captioned the post: “Mum and dad.”

In subsequent slides, the 31-year-old posed solo, and the couple also shared a pic of their child’s ultrasound.

Over on his own page, Matt shared a similar post, musing that his bae had a “bun in the oven”.

Tatum Hargraves and Daniel Di Carluccio

The Bachelor 2021‘s Tatum Hargraves has revealed that she’s expecting a baby girl with her fiancé Daniel Di Carluccio.

On June 26, the pair shared an ADORABLE video of their gender reveal party on social media captioned “We’re having a baby girl”, and we’re not crying, you are.

This comes after the couple revealed that they were welcoming their first child.

“We are so excited for our little bubba to arrive just in time for Christmas,” the expecting mama wrote to Instagram alongside a video of her sonogram.

Brent and Shonleigh Draper

In June, two-time MasterChef Australia star Brent Draper revealed he and his wife Shonleigh are expecting their second child together.

Taking to Instagram, the TV cook posted a video of him and Shonleigh sharing the exciting news with their four-year-old son, Alfie.

“We’ve got some news to tell you,” he said. “Guess what? Mummy’s having a baby!”

“I know that,” Alfie replied, before wondering whether it was actually true. Eventually, he predicted the new bub would be a boy, and whispered “I love you” to his mum’s belly.

In the caption, Brent penned: “Excited to share the next project we’ve been working on with you.

“Baby Draper 2.0 coming soon!!”

Brad Jones and Clare Hockings

Just weeks after Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 finished up on-screen, lovebirds Brad Jones and Clare Hockings announced that a bub was on the way!

ICYMI: So Dramatic! revealed that one lasting couple from the latest season had already started to grow their family.

Then, Brad and Clare confirmed they’re the duo in question, telling New Idea that they’re “so excited” as Clare entered her second trimester.

In the mag, the couple shared their ultrasound, with Brad dishing they “didn’t think it would happen as quickly as it did”.

Clare, 28, has had a “pretty healthy” pregnancy so far and is feeling “pretty good” aside from some morning sickness early on in the piece.

The bub will be the first grandchild in Clare’s family, with her parents thrilled about the pending addition.

“They are so excited,” she said.

Helena Sauzier and Tom Slingsby

The Bachelor Australia 2019‘s Helena Sauzier is about to be a mum after sharing that she and her Olympian husband Tom Slingsby are expecting their first baby.

Just a few months on from their February wedding, Helena shared the news on Instagram on June 25.

“The most loving husband and now a future baby daddy,” she captioned a slew of snaps confirming the pregnancy.

“Baby squish we already love you more than words describe.”

The comment section was inundated by congratulatory messages, including those from co-star Elly Miles, and fellow alum Bella Varelis.

Isabelle Silbery and AJ Richards

Gogglebox Australia‘s Isabelle Silbery revealed she found out she was a mum “just days before [an] appointment with a fertility specialist”.

Taking to social media on June 6, Isabelle said she and hubby AJ Richards “couldn’t be happier” that their baby “decided that the time was right”.

“I won’t lie, it’s been a rough start,” she captioned a snap of her holding an ultrasound. “I’m sick, sick of being sick, unable to do all my normal stuff & mentally exhausted.

“I do love my new boobs though!”

She added that her “favourite part” of being pregnant is being able to share the news “over and over again” with her grandmother Emmie, who was recently diagnosed with dementia.

“Even though eating fruit tingles and binging #oneborneveryminute is currently helping, I couldn’t do this without [AJ] looking after us.”

Isabelle also had a nine-year-old son, Luca, whom she shares with her ex-husband Craig Silbery.

Jack Millar and Courtney Stubbs

In the most epic reality TV crossover, Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Jack Millar and Love Island Australia 2021‘s Courtney Stubbs are about to be first-time parents together.

Aptly revealing the exciting news on Mother’s Day on May 14, Courtney posted a wholesome AF video of the couple on the ‘gram.

“Overjoyed to share our magical secret with you,” she wrote.

In the clip, which is set to Adele‘s Love In the Dark, the duo strolled down a candle-lined beach barefoot before Jack embraced Courtney and cradled her belly.

In subsequent scenes, the parents-to-be beamed at each other and Jack bent down to peck his partner’s stomach.

Then, a personalised timber placard revealed: “Baby Millar coming November 2023.”

On July 2, Jack and Courtney updated fans with a gender reveal clip, in which they popped a huge balloon containing smaller balloons and pink confetti.

“What was our little secret, is now yours,” they captioned the post.

Lizzie Sobinoff and Alexander Vega

Married at First Sight Australia’s Elizabeth “Lizzie” Sobinoff announced on May 7 that she’s expecting her first child with her husband Alexander Vega.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting news, highlighting she’d recently received several comments about her body.

“Looking at some of these comments in the last few posts I’ve done,” she started.

“Always so much focus on a woman’s body (I’ve had more than my fair share). I’m navigating my body right now, so many changes, especially internally (I’ve been pretty sick),” she wrote in the cryptic post.

“I also understand so many people are excited. So am I!!!! It’s an exciting time in our lives right now. I’ll talk about my experience with it in the future.

“Mama bear is just nesting right now,” she added.

Shannon Adams and Jamea Drake

In May, Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Shannon Adams‘ ex Jamea Drake confirmed to So Dramatic! that they were expecting their second child together.

ICYMI: Host Megan Pustetto revealed in episode 281 of the So Dramatic! podcast that Shannon and Jamea were expecting another child together, with sources dishing the child was conceived while the show was being filmed.

However, Jamea has since addressed the claims, telling So Dramatic! she’s just 17 weeks pregnant, with the child due in September.

This means the baby would have been conceived around December 2022/January 2023 — well after Shannon concluded filming Married at First Sight.

However, this contradicts a recent Instagram post made by Jamea, in which she flaunted her growing belly.

“I’m due early October,” she wrote, further revealing the baby’s gender. “Milli will have a little sister, and I have another bestie.

“I didn’t think I’d be doing it as a solo single mum. But thankfully with all the love of my family and friends I’ll have the best support I need.”

Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson

The Block 2022’s Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson told fans in April that their daughter, Cleo, will soon be a big sister as they announced their second pregnancy.

Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a video montage for their followers, which included a clip of a positive pregnancy test and hearing the baby’s heartbeat during an ultrasound.

“So excited to announce BABY CALLEJA no.2 is incoming October 2023  We feel so blessed and we are already so in love,” the caption said.

The expectant mother put the positive pregnancy test up to the camera and explained, “It’s like the faintest line, but I promise it’s there!”

Their two-year-old daughter then told the camera the baby is in “mummy’s tummy” as the youngster flashed a cheeky smile. Awww!

Sophie Tieman and Joe Bolster

The Bachelor Australia 2018 finalist Sophie Tieman and hubby Joe Bolster revealed in April that they are set to be first-time parents.

The 30-year-old shared the news by way of Instagram, with a video showing scenes from the couple’s wedding day, then when they moved into their first home together.

Finally, we got a glimpse of Sophie undergoing an ultrasound before they shared the news with their loved ones.

“Possibly the hardest (and best) secret we have ever had to keep,” she captioned the post on April 12.

The announcement came just one year after Sophie and Joe wed in a Sydney ceremony in 2022.

Sam Burgess and Lucy Graham

SAS Australia 2021‘s Sam Burgess and his girlfriend Lucy Graham announced in March that they are having a baby.

“We are so excited and happy to be starting this new chapter together… Happy days,” he said in a statement to a media outlet on March 23.

It will be the couple’s first child together. Although the pair have known each other for some years, they first publicly debuted their romance in November 2022, so they’re not wasting any time ticking off this massive relationship milestone.

The 33-year-old sportsman is already father to two children, Poppy, five, and Billy, three, who he shares with his ex-wife Phoebe Burgess.

The couple later got engaged in June, while on their babymoon.

Noni Janur and Sam Livingstone

The Bachelor Australia‘s Noni Janur was one of the first Australian reality stars to announce they were pregnant, with her and partner Sam Livingstone revealing they are expecting baby number two just six months after the birth of their daughter, Indah.

“Our hands will be full, but our hearts even fuller,” she wrote on Instagram on February 26.

“Baby #2 due August. We are all so excited to meet you.”

The announcement was accompanied by a series of photos of Noni’s growing family, including the couple showing Indah their ultrasound.
