The Challenge Australia 2022‘s Ryan Gallagher and Emily Seebohm have revealed they’re engaged, just three months after making their relationship public.
The TV duo met while filming the inaugural Aussie season of the reality star-studded sports series, with So Dramatic! exclusively revealing in September 2022 that they were more than just teammates.
Now, Ryan and Emily have dished to Woman’s Day that they’re headed for the aisle. And talk about finding love in a hopeless place!
The 34-year-old former Married at First Sight groom confessed he proposed beside a dam on his farm in Goulburn, NSW.
“When you know you know,” he admitted. “I did get nervous though. The [ring] box was making a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her!”
And no wonder, the box was making a show considering the YUGE ring inside!
Ryan is reported to have presented Emily, 30, with a trilogy diamond ring that features a large centre stone and two smaller diamonds said to represent the couple.
According to Emily, the pair “knew by the last week” of The Challenge that they had the hots for each other.
They are now planning a big f*ck-off engagement party, with plans to marry on the Gold Coast within the next couple of years.

News of The Challenge stars’ engagement comes after Ryan revealed he was signed on to be a lead on The Bachelors Australia 2023 before being cut just weeks beforehand.
He took to Instagram on February 2 to drop the little-known fact, and surprisingly had a positive outlook on the whole shebang.
Sharing an image of his “casting consent and release deed” form, he said he was “glad” he got dumped at the 11th hour.
“Not being on The Bachelor this year turned out to be the best thing to have ever done [sic],” he penned.
“I wouldn’t have done The Challenge nor met Emily.”
