The Challenge Australia 2022‘s Ryan Gallagher has been spotted on the exclusive dating app Raya even though it has been confirmed he’s dating co-star Emily Seebohm.
In September, So Dramatic! exclusively reported that the duo were dating after a friend revealed they became increasingly close on the set of the new sports-cross-reality show. Then, the couple took to the ‘gram to let fans “in on a little secret” — A.K.A their relationship!
However, as reported in episode 237 of the So Dramatic! podcast, TWO members of the So Dramatic! Drama Army have spied Ryan on Raya in recent weeks.
In response to Ryan and Emily’s relationship confirmation, one fan wrote in the So Dramatic! Communi-TEA Facebook group: “I saw him on Raya 2 days ago.”
While other reality TV fans mused that they were “not surprised” by the finding, another penned that she came across the “same” profile.
ICYMI: Raya is billed as a “private, membership-based, social network” app; however, its claim to fame is its premise of being a dating app for celebs and high-flying socialites.
So, there’s one of two scenarios here: Ryan has forgotten to deactivate his dating profile, or he’s taken a leaf out of his sneaky MAFS wife Davina Rankin‘s book…
What have The Challenge‘s Ryan Gallagher and Emily Seebohm said about their relationship?
Chatting to Yahoo! Lifestyle about their relationship, Emily said trust was a big element of their partnership, having been paired up on The Challenge.
“Me and Ryan, obviously we were paired with each other first challenge, we won and we worked really well together,” she explained.
“Inside the game, we were just the people that could trust each other. Ryan had my back one hundred and fifty per cent and I had his back one hundred and fifty per cent, and that’s hard to find in a game where you’ve gotta lie, you’ve gotta deceive people and you’ve gotta backstab people.
“And we just knew that from each other we weren’t going to do that.”
However, their partnership didn’t transition into love until after filming wrapped up.
“After the show, we both met up in Argentina and we decided to go travelling together… We’ve kind of been inseparable since the show,” she continued.
“I’m super happy. I know I didn’t win the show, but I definitely feel like I won… We’re saying it’s love.”
