Married at First Sight Australia’s Elizabeth “Lizzie” Sobinoff has announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband Alexander Vega.
On May 7, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting news, highlighting she’d recently received several comments about her body.
“Looking at some of these comments in the last few posts I’ve done,” she started.
“Always so much focus on a woman’s body (I’ve had more than my fair share). I’m navigating my body right now, so many changes, especially internally (I’ve been pretty sick),” she wrote in the cryptic post.
“I also understand so many people are excited. So am I!!!! It’s an exciting time in our lives right now. I’ll talk about my experience with it in the future.
“Mama bear is just nesting right now,” she added. Aww, we’re so happy for her!
Many reality stars flocked to the comments section to congratulate the expecting mum on her big news.
“Congratulations my beautiful friend… such fabulous news! You are going to be a wonderful mother xx,” MAFS‘ Sarah Roza wrote.
Meanwhile, Liam Cooper commented: “Awww congratulations, you’ll make a wonderful mother.”
Real Housewives of Melbourne‘s Jackie Gillies also sent her love to the reality star, writing: “Congratulations sending you all blessings.”
Elizabeth Sobinoff sparks pregnancy rumours with cryptic Instagram post
Lizzie first sparked pregnancy rumours back in April when she posted a photo to Instagram in an oversized cardigan with her hands around her stomach.
A few eagle-eyed followers took to the comments section to share their suspicions.
“Pregnant?” one user asked, whilst another said: “You never hide your tummy, are [there] little Lizzy’s on the way?”
The speculation came after Lizzie and Alexander, who had been dating since 2021, tied the knot on January 27.
In a series of beautiful Instagram posts, Lizzie described her wedding as the “best” day of her life, and we love to see it.
After two failed attempts at finding love on MAFS, we’re glad she finally got the happy ending she deserved!
