Two-time Married at First Sight Australia bride Lizzie Sobinoff will now tie the knot for real after getting engaged to her boyfriend, Alexander Vega.

The 31-year-old announced the news on Instagram on August 28 with a snap of her and her engineer bae locking lips.

“Engaged to the love of my life,” she mused. “My everything. I’m so UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY.”

Lizzie, who appeared on consecutive seasons of MAFS in 2019 and 2020, also took to her Stories to gush about the exciting milestone.

In clear disbelief, the reality star said she was “so so happy” following her “soulmate’s” proposal.

“Omg, I’m engaged to my soulmate!!!! [sic],” Lizzie penned. “Omg, omg, I’m loving life.”

In a subsequent post, the newly minted fiancée said Alexander popped the question a day prior on August 27.

“It happened yesterday; I always knew it was him. It could only ever be him,” she mused.

“Thank you again for the beautiful messages.”

Several Married at First Sight Alumni Congratulated Lizzie Sobinoff On Her Engagement

Several former Married at First Sight Australia stars took to the comment section to congratulate Lizzie and Alexander on their engagement.

Her 2019 co-stars Martha Kalifatidis and Melissa Lucarelli shared their excitement, with the latter expressing that the news was “the actual best”.

“Congratulations, beautiful. So damn happy for you! BIG LOVE!” she wrote.

Lizzie first debuted her relationship with Alexander during Christmas celebrations in 2021, posting a few cryptic snaps of the pair with her bae’s face covered.

However, at the time, Lizzie said Alexander had been on the scene “for a while” before the pics were taken.

Before dating Alexander, Lizzie had been in a year-long relationship with Seb Guilhaus, who she met during her second stint on MAFS in 2020. However, they split in January 2021.

This followed her first unsuccessful experience in the controversial marriage experiment, in which her TV hubby, Sam Ball, cheated on her with their co-star, Ines Basic.

But, as Cyrell Paule penned under the engagement announcement: “Who needs MAFS?!”

Congratulations Lizzie and Alexander!
