Married at First Sight Australia 2019‘s Martha Kalifatidis has jumped back online for the first time in weeks to reveal the one thing she has to do before returning to Instagram for good.
As her fiancé Michael Brunelli recently revealed, the beloved pair returned to Australia “a month early” after Martha contracted a viral infection while overseas.
While Michael has been sharing updates through Instagram Stories, his bae has tucked away her influencer life while she’s been on the mend, staying relatively MIA from social media.
Now, she’s taken to her account for the first time in almost a month to reveal she’ll “be back soon”.
“Today was a good day,” she penned on August 25 alongside a video of the beloved MAFS couple.
She then dished she’s “just gotta colour [her] hair” before getting back into the swing of things, and yep! We feel you!
She concluded: “Miss you guys so much; thanks for all your sweet messages.”
Martha Kalifatidis’ Foray Back Online Comes After a Visit to the Hospital
It comes just days after her MAFS bae-turned-IRL bae revealed the TV bride had a recent trip to the hospital.
“So it’s been a little while…” he mused before a series of posts, including one saying Martha is “slowly getting better”.
He then dished that he was “pulled over by police” at midnight after accompanying Martha to the hospital for having a plastic cover over his number plates.
However, he assured fans that his bae is doing well.
“I got pulled over by police at 12am after taking Martha to the hospital (she’s OK) for having these on my plates,” he wrote alongside a photo of the perspex culprit.
According to the TV groom, the cover reflected the cops’ headlights; ergo, they could not read his plates.
Luckily, Michael didn’t cop a fine and received a warning after “explaining where [they’d] been”.
Some Fans Were Unimpressed with Michael and Martha Being “Secretive” Over Their Private Lives
After sharing a glimpse into their temporary “normal”, Michael exposed one fan who thought his efforts weren’t enough.
Posting a screenshot of the message, he penned: “This made me chuckle”.
The fan’s DM read: “It’s actually annoying how open you guys were and how secretive this entire sickness has been. Unfollowing.”
The Story was accompanied by James Blunt’s hit song, Goodbye My Lover.
“Shoutout to the 99.9 per cent of people understanding some things in life can be kept private,” Michael concluded.
