Controversial bidder Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli has revealed his plans for The Block 2023 and it sounds like it’s going to be an EPIC season!
The multimillionaire, who famously showed up to The Block 2022 auction in a yellow Lamborghini, has shared that he’ll be bidding on every single house during the show’s auction day this year. And we think we just cried a little.
According to Realestate.com, the 34-year-old said that he’d be causing “a bit of a ruckus.”
“I’m happy to bid on all of [the houses] and I’m happy to buy all of them, but I’m not going to overpay on any of them.
“At least people know I’m a serious bidder this time,” he dished. Wowza.
And when asked about The Block bidder Danny Wallis, Adrian said that the “gloves are off”.
“I don’t have competition against Danny Wallis. We’re just in different leagues.
“It’s all fun and games. Everyone wins out of this. We don’t hate each other, I like the bloke.
Adrian even spilled some goss on the competition this year, stating that the contestants had “all done a fantastic job”.
“They’re very nice houses and more appealing to a bigger audience than the country homes (in country Victoria last year).”
Adrian Portelli visits The Block set as part of a ‘top-secret’ challenge
On May 25, the investor was spotted on The Block‘s set in Melbourne’s Hampton East.
According to the Herald Sun, this was because he’s set to feature in a “top-secret challenge” involving “prospective buyers of properties.” Oooh…
Adrian took to social media to confirm his appearance in the upcoming season, sharing that he was ready to “shake things up.”
“I got an invite this year, think they know I’ve got the money to buy a house now so no more dummy bidding,” Adrian said in an Instagram Story.
“Let’s buy a house.” Bring it on!
