The Bachelor Australia 2016‘s Noni Janur has outed another mother for body-shaming her for her post-partum body.

The reality star welcomed her first child, daughter Indah, with partner Sam Livingston in August 2022, sharing regular snaps of their little fam on the ‘gram.

Also known for her fashionable content, the swimwear designer shares many photos of herself, and a particular bikini pic posted in early December seems to have piqued the interest of one follower for all the wrong reasons.

Taking to her Instagram Story on February 2, the 32-year-old shared a screenshot of a recent comment left by the follower on the post.

“Haha I remember seeing you at Star Cosmetics you had the sexiest body and legs what happened? [sic],” it read.

“I feel so bad hit the gym girl [sic].”

Above the comment, Noni captioned the Story: “Well that’s a nice way to wake up. It’s the mum shaming from a mum for me girl [sic].”

Noni Janur hits out at mum-shaming comments on Instagram

Several hours later, Noni took to her Instagram Story again to thank her other followers who were “supporting [her] after that harsh comment”.

“I normally don’t engage with those types of comments, but it just really shocked me that it had come from another mum,” the teary influencer said, noting the user in question had “mum” listed in her Instagram bio.

“I normally wouldn’t post it on social media but I just had enough.”

Noni said that “knowing what people go through post-partum” urged her to share the comment online.

“I’m aware my body’s changed, that’s something that I’m trying to learn to love but like, we don’t need these comments thrown from other people when we’re trying to figure out our journey of post-partum and love our bodies again.

“To have these stupid, silly, hate comments… from people that we don’t even know, it’s just ridiculous.”

Noting that the “mum community is normally so supportive”, Noni said the comment was a “reminder that the stupid comments don’t go unseen”.

“It does hurt people.”

Noni Janur reveals social media hiatus was due to trolls

Noni revealed that in recent years she’s had quite a bit of time off social media due to online trolls.

“Just the negativity’s sometimes not where I want to be and I don’t want to surround myself and my mind into that negative space [sic],” she said.

“I want to be more active on social media and just for the pure fact to be supportive of other women.”

Noni concluded: “I will try to be, but people need to cut this sh*t out, to be honest.”
