Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Sara Mesa has spilled some juicy production goss during a nightclub appearance, and we’re living for the tea!
As revealed in episode 380 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one spy attended Sara’s club appearance at Falvey’s Club in QLD in April, where the TV bride spilled some piping hot behind-the-scenes tea to some of the patrons.
“Sara said the cocktail parties lasted two hours,” the source told So Dramatic!. “When the waiter says: ‘Dinner is served’, they don’t go to dinner. They get put in individual tents and wait to do their voxies.” Interesting!
According to the nutritionist, the brides and grooms got “yelled at by producers” if they “didn’t say anything dramatic”.
“[Producers] would [tell the contestants] they’re boring and they needed to make a bigger deal out of situations,” the source added. And suddenly, Sara’s on-screen dramatics now make total sense!
The 29-year-old also said that the cast would finally get dinner once producers got “everything they needed”.

The outspoken bride also allegedly called the producers “sexist” for the gender stereotypes they perpetrated.
“Sara said the producers are really sexist and tried to make the girls show big emotions and then label them dramatic,” the source spilled.
“But when the guys showed big emotions, they didn’t show that. They wanted to portray women as crazy and dramatic.” And it’s 2024 people, get with it!
Sara dropped one final bomb when the fan asked about the extent of psychological aftercare.
“It’s literally just an email asking, ‘Are you good?'” the source said. Sadly, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this.
