Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Eden Harper has addressed whether Jayden Eynaud really saw the messages Sara Mesa sent about her ex.

ICYMI: Sara met up with her ex-boyfriend during the experiment but texted Eden beforehand, asking to borrow an outfit so she could “look hot” for the occasion.

Eden later told Sara that Jayden had seen the texts and that they’d tell Tim Calwell about them if Sara didn’t. SPICY!

During an appearance on K ROCK 95.5’s Tom, Lingy & Loggy on March 7, Eden admitted that Jayden NEVER actually saw Sara’s messages on her phone.

“That was a mess up on my behalf… I shouldn’t have said that,” she confessed. “You’ll see this play out later on the show.” (More on that here.)

The 28-year-old then explained that she lied because she was “scared” of how Sara and the group would react and wanted Jayden there for backup.

“It was me just overthinking [because I wanted] to feel safe to do what I was about to do,” she clarified. And we’ve all been there!

MAFS’ Eden thinks something more happened between Sara and her ex

To add further fuel to the fire, Eden admitted that she thought something more happened between Sara and her ex, despite Sara insisting that they only met for casual drinks with a group of friends.

“If I thought nothing happened [between them], I wouldn’t have said anything,” Eden said before confessing that she’s no longer on speaking terms with the controversial bride.

Meanwhile, on the official MAFS podcast, Eden confessed that after a few weeks of the marriage experiment, she realised her friendship with Sara wasn’t that deep anyway.

“We’d already had a friendship built where she thought we were good friends, and I was on the same page. But I definitely wasn’t,” she told hosts Shelley Horton and John Aiken. Eep!

MAFS‘ Eden responds to rumours that she was a producer puppet

When asked if producers asked her and Jayden to “stir up drama” for air time, Eden set the record straight once and for all.

“No, definitely not,” she asserted, hinting that the rumour was possibly started by someone trying to deflect from their own drama. Interesting…
