Strap in, folks, because we have the tea on Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s tumultuous friendships, including a “huge fallout” among brides.

As soon as a new season of MAFS kicks off, the newlyweds scramble to build friendships and alliances as if the marriage experiment is as brutal as a game of Survivor. Which, it is!

As such, it’s no surprise that the 11th season of the show is no different, and good God, the cast dynamic this year is NUTS.

As reported in episode 351 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Lauren Dunn, Eden Harper, Tori Adams and Sara Mesa begin the experiment as a close-knit foursome.

“They were inseparable. Eden, Sara and Lauren more so, they would all hang out together off-camera all the time,” one source dished.

“Every morning they would meet up for coffee and then hang out together on the weekends.”

However, they said that this dynamic shifts midway through the experiment when Eden does something “f*cked up to Sara and completely betrays her trust”.

The insider explained: “They had a huge friendship fallout. Eden exposed something about Sara halfway through the show that Sara had told her in confidence. It was really f*cked.

“You will see a completely different side of Eden towards the end of the experiment.” JUICY AF.

Married at First Sight‘s Sara Mesa and Lauren Dunn are still besties to this day despite fallout

The MAFS insider added that Sara and Lauren “had the strongest friendship on the show”.

“They were best friends. They really stuck by each other through thick and thin and had each other’s backs the entire time,” they confessed.

“They were genuine friends and still are. In fact, they even went to Bali together for a girl’s trip for Sara’s 30th birthday after filming.” And we have the pics to prove it!

In photos obtained by So Dramatic!, Sara and Lauren posted with a group of girlfriends while in Bali post-show.

Ellie Dix and Cassandra Allen didn’t have many close friends on MAFS

Unlike their co-stars, Ellie Dix and Cassandra Allen weren’t “really friends with any of the other brides”.

“Cass was petrified of breaking the rules so she wouldn’t come out when the other girls hung out with each other,” one participant told So Dramatic!. “She didn’t really click with anyone in the cast on a deep level.

“Then, when she started being bitchy to Sara, the main girl group didn’t want a bar of her and she became even more on the outs with them.”

Meanwhile, Ellie’s partner, Ben Walters, “really isolated her”.

“He didn’t want her to hang out with anyone, and it became a bit of a thing that he isolated her a bit,” we are told.

“She kind of kept to herself because Ben didn’t want her talking to anyone about what was going on behind closed doors.

“So she kind of just floated around between everyone.”

Maybe he was trying to keep her away from Jonathan McCullough, who — spoiler alert!— she now appears to be dating.

Sources say the other brides, Andrea Thompson and Lucinda Light, also “became really good friends”.

All of the Married at First Sight Australia 2024 grooms were ‘really close’ bar one

Sources said that, for the most part, all of the MAFS grooms were “really close”.

However, Timothy Smith had a few issues with some of his fellow grooms.

“Timothy hated Jack Dunkley, Jayden Eyanud and the intruder Ridge Barredo,” one participant said. “He has a full vengeance against them. He thought they were f*ckheads.” And if the shoe fits…

They added that it was “super random” that Timothy was “super close with Lauren and Sara”.

“Those three were besties, especially at the dinner parties. They really banded together,” one insider explained.

“Even though Timothy is in his fifties, he loved getting involved in the drama like Lauren and Sara and the three of them were always gossiping about everyone else.”

Apparently, the “producers were frothing them and the drama they were always bringing to the dinner parties”.

Yep, because it makes for good TV, and we LOVE it!
