Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Ben Walters has addressed the cheating scandal involving his TV wife Ellie Dix and co-star Jonathan McCullough.
To get you up to speed: it was revealed in February that Ellie and Jonathan began “messaging each other” during the experiment behind Ben and Lauren Dunn‘s backs.
After the experiment was over, the pair shocked their co-stars when they arrived at the reunion “hand-in-hand”, one source told So Dramatic!.

Ben has since told Yahoo! Lifestyle that the reunion was when he first learned of Ellie and Jonathan’s relationship.
However, he admitted he was always a smidge suss of their connection during filming.
“I saw the way they looked at each other from the start, and I suspected something fishy was going on,” he said.
The tour guide — who got absolutely reamed by Ellie’s cousin for his true intentions for going on MAFS — added that he feels like his bride “emotionally cheated” on him.
Despite this, he’s happy she appears to have found love.
“I honestly wish them well as they seem happy together,” he told the outlet. “We text sometimes still. It’s pretty disappointing that they decided to ruin the storyline for MAFS fans.”
This comes after it was revealed producers are in “damage control” following news that Ellie and Jonathan are together.
