The word on the street is that Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn will be the “It Girl” of the season and we can’t wait!
Hailing from Perth, the witty bride is set to cause a stir on the show, with sources claiming she’s not afraid to speak her mind. We’ve also heard that she’ll bring the drama at every dinner party, shooting her to standout star status.
Whilst standing at the altar in the show’s trailer, she tells her future hubby: “I will respect you and support you, but probably not obey you”. And did somebody say ICONIC?

In another preview, Lauren’s co-stars called her “outrageous” and “trouble”.
A clip also played of her picking flowers out of a garden before her wedding because she’d lost her bouquet before telling the cameras: “I hope he likes a dirty bride”. LOL!
The trailer also showed fellow bride Andrea Thompson saying: “You better not steal my man”. To which Lauren replied: “Nobody’s safe”. And boy, are we excited to watch her!
What else do we know about Married at First Sight 2024‘s Lauren Dunn?
Besides possessing a top-notch sense of humour, the 32-year-old runs a successful PR and marketing business within the hospitality industry.
She also considers herself a HUGE foodie. According to her LinkedIn, she’s been running a food blog called @so.cooked on Instagram since April 2017.
Lauren also used to date Essendon AFL star Ryan Crowly, so she’s no stranger to the spotlight.
So Dramatic! can reveal that the couple ended their five-year relationship in May. However, the new bride has stated that the relationship had simply run its course” and that the pair still “remain on good terms”.
In addition, Lauren has rubbed shoulders with some very well-known individuals, including former Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop and former King of the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle, Miguel Maestre.
So Dramatic! can also reveal that her dad Robbie Dunn played for the Soccer Roos and was one of the country’s most outstanding defenders, featuring in the 1986 World Cup and playing at the 1988 Olympic Games when Australia made the quarter-finals.
MAFS‘ Lauren Dunn isn’t afraid of calling people out
Sources close to Lauren told So Dramatic! that she’s not afraid of confrontation.
“Lauren’s loyal to a tee,” one insider dished. “She’s a bit of a hot mess but in the best way. She’s very likeable and relatable.
“She’s a bit similar to Beck Zemek in terms of not being afraid to call people out for bad behaviour and stand up for herself. But she definitely won’t be a villain.
“Just like Beck, she stands up to the Bryce [Ruthven] of the season too. You’re going to be obsessed with her. She’s defs a girl’s girl.” And we love the sound of her already!
Another source who went to school with the bride called her “gregarious” and “gorgeous”
“She was definitely in the cool, popular group but was always lovely to me,” they said. “She’s very charismatic and easy to like. She’s always been very beautiful but there is more to her than just her good looks.”
A third insider said Lauren is allegedly “the kind of person who’s really hard to please”.
“That should be an interesting watch…She’s going on [MAFS] to get famous, but aren’t they all?” they added.
What is MAFS‘ Lauren Dunn looking for in a partner?
Per her official bio, the bride-to-be wants to follow in the footsteps of her parents, who’ve been married for 40 years.
Lauren, who describes herself as “a little bit crazy” in relationships, is looking for a hubby who can match her levels of banter whilst being level-headed enough to balance her out.
Like most of us, the reality star has only attracted “red flags” so far. However, she’s hopeful that her match will be “tall, dark and handsome” and “make her laugh until she cries”. Amen, sis!
