The ex-boyfriend Sara Mesa slept with a month prior to Married at First Sight Australia 2024 is allegedly a different man from the one she caught up with during the show.
ICYMI: The March 6 dinner party fully exploded when Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud dropped the bombshell that Sara had seen her former flame during filming.
Her husband, Tim Calwell, later dished to the group that Sara had slept with her ex “a month before” filming the show.

However, a source close to Sara has revealed that the ex-boyfriend in question and the one she slept with just before the show are actually two separate men.
“Sara told Tim privately that she had slept with an ex a month ago, but it was a different ex to the one she had caught up with and who was mentioned at the dinner party,” they told So Dramatic!.
“Tim told everyone she slept with her ex a month ago while she was out of the room. When she came back, Stephen [Stewart] asked her if she had, and she just said yes.”
The source added: “It wasn’t even the ex she hung out with, but she didn’t want it to look like she was lying by arguing about something else.”

During the dinner party, the Columbian-born bride seemingly put her foot in it when she appeared to admit to sleeping with her ex-partner while he had a long-term girlfriend.
However, one of Sara’s co-stars said this confession was taken “completely out of context”.
“Sara had told Tim in confidence early on in the experiment that when she and her ex were hooking up in the past, he had a girlfriend,” they explained.
“However, she didn’t know he had a girlfriend at the time.”
The MAFS 2024 participant then said Sara’s commentary was edited to make it “look like she’s okay with cheating“.
“Sara said, ‘Yeah, he did [have a girlfriend], but I didn’t know’,” they recalled. “But they just cut the ‘I didn’t know’ part.”

A production insider also dished some tea about the most hectic dinner party yet.
While it appeared that Sara was fumbling for excuses, they say this isn’t how it went down on the night.
“The dinner party was every single person yelling over each other and at Sara, not letting her get a word in,” they claimed.
“But they muted everyone’s mics in the final cut to make out like Sara was stammering around and fumbling over her words and creating this web of lies.”
According to the insider, the final edit “cut out everyone yelling at her“.
“It made it look like everyone said their piece calmly, but it was mayhem. That’s why she walked out.”

While Sara alleged her catch-up with her ex was friendly and in a group setting, some of her co-stars aren’t buying it.
“Sara and her ex had been sleeping together for five years after they broke up, even though he had a new girlfriend,” one alleged.
Meanwhile, a second participant said they were “definitely still romantic leading up to MAFS“.
“And let’s be real, during MAFS too,” they claimed.
“Eden only told the PG version of what she knew. She said she had more things to tell.”
