Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Sara Mesa is said to have exposed Jack Dunkley at the Couples Retreat for hitting on her.
As reported in episode 359 of the So Dramatic! podcast, multiple sources told host Megan Pustetto there were “a number of incidents” between Jack and Sara that made her feel extremely “uncomfortable”.
One participant said that the 29-year-old felt as though the controversial groom had “violated” her several times.

“Sara told Tim [Calwell] about all of them when they happened, but he never seemed to care or say anything to Jack about it,” they said of her TV husband.
At first, Sara didn’t want to confront Jack herself as the incidents “all happened off-camera”.
“She was worried she wouldn’t be believed, and she didn’t want to be accused of starting drama or trying to get airtime,” the source explained.

According to one of Sara‘s co-stars, “Jack kissed Sara on the neck and touched her up one time”.
Another participant elaborated: “Earlier on in the experiment, Sara told some of the brides that she always got a creepy vibe from Jack.
“One day, she was going to the jacuzzi and ran into Jack and Tori in the hallway. When she went to say goodbye to them, Jack grabbed her butt.
“Sara immediately told Tim. He didn’t seem too phased by it but said, ‘If it happens again, let me know.’”
On another occasion, Jack kissed Sara on the neck when greeting her at a dinner party.
“Jack was always very over-the-top complimentary with Sara and not with any of the other brides,” the insider added.
“There were multiple incidents that made her feel uncomfortable. But because they were all small things, Sara was worried she might have been overthinking it or looking into it too much and was worried it would be used against her somehow, so she didn’t say anything.”

When Sara told her bestie Lauren Dunn about Jack’s behaviour, she was encouraged to “bring it up with Jack and the group because that type of behaviour isn’t OK”.
One source added that Lauren truly believed Sara because of a comment Jack made to Jonathan McCullough and Tim during a previous gym sesh.
“Jack had said to Jono and Tim that Tim scored the hottest wife on MAFS,” they recalled.
When Sara asked Tim whether this was true, her husband confirmed Jack said this but “tried to brush it off”.
“He said he ‘didn’t think it was a big deal’,” the insider said, adding that Sara became frustrated because Tim “didn’t bat an eyelid” at the things she said made her uncomfortable.
“Sara was expecting Tim to be angry and say something to Jack, but he didn’t. All he cared about was defending the bro code and not getting off-side with Jack.”
As such, Tim’s devotion to Jack drove a wedge between him and Sara because he was “hellbent on keeping Jack’s secrets and defending him”.

According to one participant, Lauren and Sara pulled Tori Adams aside during the Couples Retreat girls’ night to explain what had happened with Jack.
“Sara said, ‘I feel really uncomfortable sharing this with you because I held it in for a while, but then all these other things happened as well’,” they explained.
“Tori actually did care and have a reaction for once and said that hearing this didn’t make her feel good.”
When the boys returned from their off-site night out, “Tori confronted Jack“.
Of course, he didn’t agree that he’d been creepy.
“He said that he didn’t remember touching her butt and that he kisses everyone on the neck because he doesn’t want to get makeup on his face,” one source said.
Jack also denied saying Sara was the “hottest bride”.
“He said, ‘I never said she was the hottest bride, I might have said she was the most striking’.”

One source revealed that when Sara told Tim she had told Tori what happened, she requested that he “back her up” if it was mentioned to the group.
“That night, it got brought up by Timothy [Smith],” they recalled. “He knew about it because Sara had confided in him earlier in the experiment and asked him what she should do about it.
“So Tim had no choice but to step in and say something to Jack in defence of Sara.”
They revealed that Jonathan was also “going off at Jack for calling him a liar” on a separate occasion.
“So Jack had all three of them ripping into him at once. His head was on a swivel. He didn’t know where to look or what to say. It was epic.”
Another participant said that Tim “did a really good job standing up for Sara”.
“He finally grew a pair,” they said. “Sara felt instantly attracted to him after that, and they had an amazing rest of the retreat.”
