Married at First Sight Australia 2024 participants have shed light on the toxic boys’ club that evolved among this year’s grooms.

And that includes a tight-knit group of grooms who were happy to let sh*t behaviour from their “bros” slide!
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, Tim Calwell was the groom to learn that Jack Dunkley was offering up Tori Adams to the other grooms in the event of a couple swap exercise.
Tim then passed this on to Jonathan McCullough, who told Lauren Dunn, who then shared it with the cast.
Keeping up?
“Tim, Jono, Jack and Jayden [Eynaud] were all best mates,” one participant revealed in episode 357 of the So Dramatic! podcast.
“Tim kept all of Jack’s secrets and never told them to anyone, not even to Sara [Mesa].
“So even though Tim was the one who found out about the couple swap comment, he never told Sara, so she was genuinely shocked when Lauren told her at the dinner party.”

Another participant revealed that Tim was constantly defending Jack “when he was in the firing line”.
“The last dinner party [February 21] was one of them, but they cut it all out,” they told host Megan Pustetto. “Probably because it doesn’t suit his nice guy edit.”
A third MAFS 2024 star added: “Tim defended Jack all the time. They were best friends. He was always sucking up to him, trying to be his best mate. But they haven’t shown any of it.”

Adding that Tim “is completely spineless”, the source said this is why Sara “wasn’t sure about him”.
“She’s a strong woman with strong morals and values, and she got the ick big time when she realised he was weak and had no strength of character,” they explained.
“It was really disappointing. He has no opinion, backbone or integrity.”
A fourth participant backed this up, revealing that Tim defended Jack and his “wife swap” comment about Tori.
“He said it was a joke,” they recalled. “Sara yelled at him and said, ‘Please sit down and do not defend that man’.
“Then he ran out to console Jack with some of the other boys. Pathetic.”
