It turns out that Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Timothy Smith was “heavily involved” in the epic dinner party fight between Lauren Dunn and Jack Dunkley, but sadly, it was left on the cutting room floor.
During the February 21 episode, it was revealed that Jack told Jonathan McCullough that if there was a couple swap exercise, whoever was matched with his wife Tori Adams would be allowed to sleep with her so he didn’t have to.
When Lauren shared this information with the group, Jack told Jonathan to “muzzle his woman“, resulting in a HUGE blowup.

However, many fans questioned why Timothy Smith didn’t chime in, considering he’s been anti-Jack since Day One.
However, one contestant told So Dramatic! that Timothy was at the centre of the drama and “screamed at Jack for two hours”.
“Timothy was seated next to Lauren,” the source dished. “They were just bouncing off each other all night and going at Jack and calling out his lies.
“Lauren would attack, and then Timothy would attack. They were like a tag team.”
They added: “Jack’s head was on a swivel. He didn’t know where to look by the end of it. But they didn’t show any of what Timothy said, even though he played just as big a part in helping Lauren take Jack down.”
According to the source, Timothy told Jack: “Everything about you is fake and phoney, and I don’t believe you for a second.” And we wish they would have shown this!
Married at First Sight 2024‘s Jack is called out for asking leading questions
The insider also said Jack would often ask “leading questions” to manipulate people.
“Jack would ask questions in a way where he told the person how he wanted them to respond,” they explained.
“For example, he would say, ‘We always joke about this, don’t we, Tori?’, or ‘Jono, I always say I’m attracted to Tori, don’t I?’
“It was almost said in a threatening and intimidating way, like if you didn’t answer his questions how he wanted you to, he’d be mad.”
They added: “It’s like a threat. He’s very controlling and makes people scared to say how they really feel.” And that’s gaslighting 101 for you!
Why was Timothy Smith cut from the Married at First Sight dinner party fight?
It turns out there’s a wholesome reason why producers chose to cut out Timothy’s antics at the dinner party.
During the February 21 episode, Timothy gave a heartfelt speech about his family and also shared a moment of bonding with Tristan Black, where he showed his softer side.
“It would’ve been jarring to include Timothy going off at Jack, followed by his vulnerable moment with Tristan. It was too much of a contrast for his character and storyline that night, so they cut it,” the insider explained.
“There was so much going on, it was so chaotic, and they couldn’t show everything,” they added.
However, they did reveal that there’d be lots more drama between Timothy and Jack later, and we can’t wait to see him take the red flag down!
Married at First Sight‘s Tim Calwell was the one who shared Jack Dunkley’s cooked couple swap comment
Now, it turns out Jonathan wasn’t even the groom who leaked Jack’s cooked Couple Swap comment. The tea actually came from Tim Calwell first!
“Tim told Jonathan, who told Lauren,” our source said. “They cut all of that out because it was probably too confusing.”
And thank god they did because we already have whiplash!
The cast was ‘DISAPPOINTED’ with Jonathan after he failed to defend Lauren at the dinner party
The Married at First Sight cast was also “disappointed” in Jonathan after he failed to defend Lauren after the “muzzle” comment.
“He should’ve defended his wife. No one could believe he didn’t,” the source said, before dropping some SPICY tea.
“At the following Commitment Ceremony, Jono apologised to Tori. It was her birthday the night of the dinner party and he felt bad about all the drama that went down, so he said ‘sorry’.
“The experts call him out and said: ‘That’s not the person you should be apologising to. You should be apologising to your wife’.”
More COOKED comments Married at First Sight’s Jack made about Tori
Unsurprisingly, Jack made EVEN MORE disgusting comments about Tori behind her back and it sounds like he’s the one who needs the muzzle.
“Jack was constantly telling the boys he wasn’t sexually attracted to Tori,” one contestant dished.
“He said that if she came up to him in a nightclub, he’d go: ‘Ugh, where are your mates?'” And we have NO words!
“Jack’s excuse was that everything he said to the boys, he’d have no problem saying to Tori’s face. But then he was going on about how Jonathan broke the ‘bro code’. It didn’t make any sense.”
And the math is never mathing with Jack!
This wouldn’t be the first time the problematic groom has made gross comments about women. He also “body shamed” the other brides and called them out for “having work done”.
“[He was] calling them ugly, fat, too tall, too loud, too old, and stuff like that,” one source told So Dramatic!. And honestly, can someone take this man off our screens?
