Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Timothy Smith has been called out for having a secret sister after claiming he has no family.
When asked during his MAFS wedding where his family was, the Melburnian said they were “all dead”, sharing that his brother, mother and father had all sadly passed away.
However, as revealed in episode 354 of the So Dramatic! podcast, sources have revealed Timothy has a sister who is “very much alive”.

“Not sure why he’s saying he has no family… Maybe for ratings?” one insider wondered.
Another source, who claims to have dated Timothy in 2020, said his sister lives in Brisbane, and the pair would “chat on the phone and via text messages”.
A third person alleged Timothy and his sister are “quite close and speak regularly”.
“He visited her four times in person at least over the last three years,” they alleged. “He also has heaps of cousins in Queensland. He is not completely alone at all.
“Very strange that he never mentioned them. I think he is definitely playing the ‘poor me’ card.”

So Dramatic! host Megan Pustetto contacted a close family friend of the groom’s, who revealed why Timothy’s sister wasn’t mentioned on the show.
“Tim and his sister have had a very turbulent relationship. They have gone through some good and bad periods,” the friend explained.
“He was in contact with her when his dad died, but she told him she didn’t want anything to do with MAFS and begged him not to mention her. Which he respected.”
The source said Timothy and his sister “had a huge falling out” once filming started and “no longer have any contact”.
“They are completely estranged, and I don’t think they will ever speak again,” the friend said.
“So, technically, in his eyes, he doesn’t have a sister.” Ouch.
This comes after So Dramatic! revealed that Timothy walked out on the experiment several times.
However, “he came back every time; he doesn’t actually ever quit”.
