Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Timothy Smith is set to be at the centre of all the drama this season and we’re holding on for dear life!
Despite having a “heart of gold”, sources have told So Dramatic! that the Melbourne-based groom is extremely outspoken and doesn’t back down from confrontation.
“He’s funny and not shy from speaking his mind, no matter how unpopular his opinions may be,” they dished.

We’ve also heard that the 51-year-old will be at the centre of some INTENSE drama this season. And this is great news for us dramaholics!
Another source told So Dramatic! that Timothy likes to be called Tim. However, since there was already another Tim in the cast, they had to call him Timothy, which he was “pissed off” about. LOL!
What else do we know about Married at First Sight 2024‘s Timothy Smith?
The groom also appears to know MAFS 2021‘s Jo Todd, with the pair following each other on Instagram.
It sounds like Timothy hustles hard, ‘coz he owns a real estate business and a gin distillery.
He also signed up for the marriage experiment as a last-ditch attempt to find love and is in desperate need of the experts’ help.
Per his official bio, the business owner is “social and outgoing” and he loves to “live every day to the fullest”.
However, as a self-described “Peter Pan” a.k.a man-child, he doesn’t let people in very easily, making it hard to find love.
After recently losing his father, Timothy realised that he really craved the emotional support and connection of a partner.
His previous relationship ended six years ago, and he’s ready to feel a spark again.
“His ex cheated on him and left him for someone else. He took it really hard,” a source told So Dramatic!. “He has his walls up big time because he doesn’t want to be hurt like that again.”
Timothy doesn’t have a physical type. However, he’s looking for a “genuinely good person” who’s lots of fun. And we hope he finds what he’s looking for!
