Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Jonathan McCullough and Jack Dunkley‘s friendship is said to blow up at the Couples Retreat.
As previously reported by So Dramatic!, Jonathan and Jack are part of a “toxic boys’ club” amid the 11th season of the marriage experiment.
However, sources have since dished that this alliance comes crumbling down after Jonathan and his wife Lauren Dunn, as well as Jack and Tori Adams, ended up at odds with one another yet again.

As revealed in episode 359 of the So Dramatic! podcast, this all kicked off when Tori approached Jonathan at the retreat and asked if he thought Lauren was going to be the mother of his children.
“It was really nasty because, at the time, Lauren and Jono weren’t in a good place, and Tori knew that,” one participant recalled.
“So Jono was like, ‘Why are you asking me that knowing we’ve just had a really hard week?’ It was a loaded question to make them look bad to take the heat off her own relationship.”
They added: “Jono went and told Lauren what Tori had said and that she’d said it in a malicious and calculated way, and she was so mad, she confronted Tori about it.
“Tori denied that it was malicious and said that Jono was lying.”
Jonathan McCullough apologised to Tori Adams in secret
The source then recalled that Tori told Lauren that Jonathan had apologised to her in a secret, off-camera moment for telling his wife about her previous comment.
“So then Lauren went back to Jono and asked him, and he denied it,” they explained. “Everyone thought that Jono was constantly trying to start drama between Tori and Lauren.
“He would light fires, then walk away and watch the world burn without getting his hands dirty.”
The participant added that Jonathan would constantly “bitch about everyone” to Lauren, knowing it would rile her up.
“He told Lauren information, knowing she would confront the person, then he wouldn’t defend her and would backtrack and make Lauren look like an idiot, then he would go and apologise and suck up to them behind Lauren’s back,” they admitted.
Lauren was reportedly “so angry” that Jonathan was going behind her back, “starting fights”, and “not backing her up”.
“Jono ended up storming out, packed his bags and tried to leave,” one insider revealed.
However, “producers wouldn’t let him”, so in the end, he just “gave up and slept on the couch”.

One source revealed that once Jonathan had left, Jack “threw him under the bus”.
“He said to Lauren, ‘See, Jono is a liar. This is what he does. He makes things up and then gaslights you,” they recalled.
“He manipulated her into thinking Jono was the problem. He got into her head during a moment of weakness and she started to think maybe Jono was lying.”
The chat with Jack caused Lauren to “waver” in her support for Jonathan. However, her co-star said she “basically got gaslighted by a gaslighter about potentially being gaslit”.

Then, Timothy Smith reportedly went to Jonathan to reveal that Jack was “taking Lauren over to the dark side”.
“Jono was too tired to do anything. He said to Timothy, ‘F*ck him. I’ve got more dirt on him than I know what to do with. I’m going to bury him, but I’m too tired right now’,” the insider said.
“He waited until the next day to confront Jack and finally called him out.”
