Married at First Sight Australia 2024 is being re-edited after a major cheating scandal involving Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough leaked.
ICYMI: It was revealed that Ellie and Jonathan are now dating IRL after messaging each other during filming, unbeknownst to the TV partners, Ben Walters and Lauren Dunn.
After photos of the couple at Ellie’s work Christmas party in December, confirming their romance, sources dished that they’d been “withdrawn from all media opportunities” and “reprimanded” by Nine.

However, it’s since been revealed that their stern talking-to hasn’t deterred the couple from continuing to flaunt their love.
An insider told Yahoo! Lifestyle that Ellie and Jonathan recently hosted a birthday party with their co-stars.

“Ellie sent out an invite to the entire cast asking them to join her and Jono on the Gold Coast, and a lot of them went along,” the source confessed. “The AACTA Awards seemed to overshadow the reality stars flying into Queensland.
“They aren’t going to hide their relationship and want Nine to work around them.”
As such, the network is doing new edits to “minimise their planned storylines” around the couple swap, which is set to be revealed at the MAFS 2024 reunion.
This comes after Ellie’s TV bae Ben confessed he “suspected something fishy was going on” between her and Jonathan during the experiment.
“I saw the way they looked at each other from the start,” he said.
