Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn and Jonathan McCullough were absent from Family and Friends week, and now we know why.
Whilst the other couples were shown meeting each other’s nearest and dearest, Lauren and Jonathan were noticeably edited out of the episodes.

According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the pair went for lunch during Family and Friends week but was edited out because it was too “boring”. LOL!
“Nothing interesting happened during the lunch. So the producers decided to scrap the scene altogether,” one production insider told the outlet.
What happened during MAFS‘ Lauren and Jonathan’s unaired scene?
According to the insider, the couple didn’t have many loved ones show up due to “scheduling reasons”. The only person who attended their lunch was someone from Jonathan’s camp.
Lauren’s friend was meant to make an appearance for a “catch-up scene”, but producers cancelled on her at the eleventh hour.
It sounds like they dodged a bullet ‘coz it’s no secret they’re no longer together after Jonathan’s saucy cheating scandal.
