Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Sara Mesa is allegedly involved in a cheating scandal that’s set to explode at an upcoming dinner party.

According to insiders, Tim was dating, then dumped, “this Brazilian chick” ahead of MAFS and was still texting her during filming.

Now, as reported in episode 360 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Tim wasn’t the only one in touch with an ex!
“Sara went out and caught up with her ex during filming,” one participant explained. “She said she didn’t actually cheat on Tim, but regardless, she definitely went behind his back and didn’t tell him she was seeing her ex, which wasn’t good.”
A source close to Sara gave a little background info, stating that she and her ex started dating not long after she moved to Sydney nine years ago.
As such, she “met most of her friends through him”, although he now lives in Perth.
“She would never hang out with her ex one-on-one, but if he’s in Sydney, they will see each other in a group situation with their friends from time to time,” they said.

The bride had reportedly confided in bestie Eden Harper that she would be seeing her ex whilst borrowing clothes for a night out.
“Sara said she was going out with her mates, and her ex was going to be there too,” one participant dished.
“She told Eden not to mention it to Tim because he was already insecure, and she didn’t want to upset him or for it to turn into a big deal.”
Her request came after Tim reacted badly to Sara confessing during their honeymoon that she was still friends with her ex.
The 29-year-old allegedly also told Eden not to tell Jayden Eynaud because “she knew he would turn it into a big thing because he was desperate for airtime”.
A second participant backed this up, adding that Sara said she “wanted to look hot” when borrowing an outfit from Eden because her former flame would be there.
It’s understandable why it looked a bit shady!
Eden Harper exposes Sara Mesa for seeing her ex during Married at First Sight
Several sources told So Dramatic! that Eden didn’t bring up Sara seeing her ex “until a few weeks later at a dinner party” following the Couples Retreat.
So, how does it all go down?
Apparently, Eden pulled Sara and Tim aside and said: “I’m giving you the chance to tell Tim what you did on the weekend, or I will.”
“So Sara told Tim everything and admitted to catching up with her ex,” one participant recalled. “Once the group found out about it, they went ape sh*t. It was wild.
“Everyone was attacking Sara. It was really full on.”
Another of Sara’s co-stars added that she “blew up” at Eden and “accused her of throwing her under the bus for airtime”.
“Sara was also upset she never said anything to her about it first since they were best friends, she just exposed her to the group.”
Lauren Dunn calls out Married at First Sight co-stars for being ‘hypocrites’
A production insider told So Dramatic! that the “outrage for Sara was intense”.
“The whole table was going off at her at once. It was a lot,” they said. “The only person who wasn’t yelling at her was Lauren [Dunn].
“She actually stood up at the dinner table and yelled at everyone like a school principal in defence of Sara.”
They recalled: “She said that she found it so funny that everyone was so upset about Sara meeting up with her ex but had no issues with anything Jack [Dunkley] had done.”
Lauren reportedly called the cast out for having “double standards“. She also called them “misogynistic” and “hypocrites“.
“Sara and Lauren ended up in a huge screaming match with everyone, and then they eventually ripped their mics off and stormed out together.”
Why is Eden Harper being accused of ‘betraying’ Sara Mesa for airtime?
As per a number of MAFS 2024 participants, producers were constantly pushing for Eden and Jayden to drum up drama because they were “boring”.
“A few weeks in, they told them that if they weren’t going to be honest and open about their relationship, they needed to cause drama at the dinner parties or go home because they were literally bringing nothing to the show,” one source said.

Another revealed: “Jayden and Eden’s producer was on their backs [at the Couples Retreat] telling them they had to do something because they had been so boring all season.”
As such, Eden spilled the tea to Jayden about Sara and her ex, and he then told the producers.
Of course, they wanted them to bring this up on the show, but Eden was “worried she would lose [Sara] and Lauren as friends”.
“So she said she didn’t want to do it, but Jayden did. So they fought about it the whole time at the retreat.”

Jayden and Eden reportedly “concocted a bullsh*t story” to limit the fallout amid Eden and her friends.
“Eden told everyone that Jayden saw a message from Sara on her phone when he walked past, and that’s how he knew, but she had actually just told him,” they said.
“It was a lie to cover her ass and put the blame on Jayden to expose Sara without copping the blame for it.”
Despite their efforts, So Dramatic! can reveal that Sara and Eden are no longer friends.
“Sara feels like Eden completely betrayed her trust and threw her under the bus, and because of that, they are not friends and do not speak,” one participant said.
“They hate each other.”
Where do Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell stand after the Married at First Sight cheating scandal is exposed?
Surprisingly, Sara and Tim managed to move past the news that the TV bride was catching up with her ex.
“Sara was really remorseful and understood why it was bad that she hadn’t been upfront with Tim in the first place.,” one source said.
“She was trying to protect him but didn’t think of the optics and how bad it would look that she was hiding it from him.”
They continued: “She pulled out all the stops to try to make it up to him. They went on some cute dates and had a lot of big convos and really started to connect.
“In the end, they agreed to put it behind them and eventually move past it.”
