The Challenge Australia 2022‘s Emily Seebohm has revealed her and her co-star-turned-partner Ryan Gallagher‘s terrifying break-in experience.
On June 18, Emily, 30, took to TikTok to address the ordeal that saw their cars broken into overnight, stating that it occurred around “5:30 to 6:30 on Sunday morning.”
She shared that Ryan, 34, was getting up for work to find that their garage door had been left wide open.
Once the couple had assessed the damage, they realised that their personal belongings had been stolen from their cars during the break-in.
“They stole my wallet and my credit cards and they rummaged through the cars,” the Olympic swimmer shared with her followers.

“All of the keys were inside [the house], so luckily they couldn’t steal any of the cars.
“It was very scary waking up to that on a Sunday morning,” she continued, before sharing that she’d called the police to report the crime.
Emily also admitted that she could barely sleep the following night.

The break-in comes after the pair announced their engagement after just three months of dating.
The duo met whilst filming The Challenge, with So Dramatic! exclusively revealing in September 2022 that they were more than just teammates.
In March, the Married at First Sight 2018 groom, 34, told Women’s Day that he proposed to Emily beside a dam on his farm in Goulburn, NSW.
“When you know you know,” he said.
“I did get nervous though. The [ring] box was making a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her!” LOL!
The pair are planning to get married on the Gold Coast in the next few years and we’re so excited for them!
