The Real Love Boat Australia 2022‘s last-standing couple Sally Geach and Jay Bonnell have broken up and we are NOT okay.
While the inaugural season of the reality show’s ratings sunk faster than the Titanic, the series was kept afloat by Sally and Jay’s cute AF romance.
The single parents’ relationship blossomed as the cast sailed the murky waters of love (and the Mediterranean), making them THE standout couple of the season.
Just a couple of episodes into the series, the duo gave away that they were still together IRL.
However, So Dramatic! can exclusively report that this is no longer the case, and BRB, crying.
As revealed in episode 277 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto highlighted a few clues indicating Sally and Jay are dunzo.
ICYMI: The pair haven’t posted any pics together for a number of months, with both contestants erasing all traces of each other on the ‘gram.
Sally even went as far as to wipe her feed clean of everything The Real Love Boat!
What’s more, the former lovers no longer follow each other on social media, making us think the split was a messy one…
Jay Bonnell ghosted his ex-girlfriend to appear on The Real Love Boat Australia
His breakup with Sally isn’t the only topsy-turvy parting Jay’s recently had, with sources telling So Dramatic! in November 2022 that he cut things off with his ex to appear on The Real Love Boat.
The scorned ex-girlfriend DM’d us to reveal how Jay dumped and ghosted her, suggesting it was all just for TV fame.
‘When the guy you were dating at the start of the year, that had introduced you to his family and everything – ghosts you,” she wrote.
The woman went on to explain she’d only just realised that the unceremonious dumping occurred right before filming for The Real Love Boat began in late June. Ooft.
“Men are actually the worst,” she said. “He clearly went on there for ulterior motives.”
So Dramatic! has contacted Jay and Sally for comment.
