Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon‘s relationship was put through the wringer on Married At First Sight Australia 2023. So what better way to toast the end of the season than with a definitive timeline of all their scandals?
Bronte and Harrison are no longer together but despite all the drama between them – which started before they even said ‘I do’ – they did defy the odds and somehow make it all the way to the final Dinner Party.
A fellow contestant even remarked to So Dramatic! about how “weird” the drama-plagued couple’s commitment to the cause was.
“They go until the end but didn’t get along the whole time so it’s weird,” they dished.
Days before the Final Vows were set to take place, tensions between Bronte and Harrison boiled over and their marriage finally came to an end.
Red flag Harrison made it known he didn’t appreciate Bronte’s willingness to speak badly about him during Home Stays Week and claimed she and her sister “attacked” him.
“Love isn’t guaranteed but I definitely think I’m leaving with more love for myself,” Bronte said as she ended things with the father-of-one.
“This relationship is done. I have too much respect to put myself through this anymore.” Yasss queen!

Harrison was seeing someone IRL until THE DAY OF his wedding to Bronte
Not even the nuptials between Bronte and Harrison could escape drama.
During the very first episode of the season, what was at the time dubbed the show’s “biggest ever scandal” was exposed at the pair’s wedding.
So Dramatic! exclusively revealed Bronte’s wedding guest Jessica Tomlinson, immediately recognised Harrison because he had been hooking up with her friend and The Bachelors co-star Abby Miller.
A source close to Jessica told So Dramatic! Abby had been “seeing him” for several weeks in the lead-up to his wedding.
“She saw him the day he left to go on the show,” the source explained.
Harrison also admitted to Bronte on their wedding day he’d been casually seeing several women in the lead-up to MAFS.

Married At First Sight’s Harrison Boon accuses Bronte Schofield of LYING about a miscarriage on their honeymoon

As if their wedding wasn’t bad enough, Bronte and Harrison’s honeymoon was also a doozy.
In an attempt to open up to her brand new hubby, one on-set source claimed Bronte wanted to test the waters by telling her newly minted husband “something sensitive about herself to see how he would respond”.
“After she said it (the miscarriage), she looked at the producer and said, ‘Oh crap, am I allowed to talk about this because it’s a touchy subject?’” the source recalled.
Naturally, Harrison interpreted this as Bronte “being fake” and then questioned “if she was lying” about the miscarriage.
It’s all well and good looking back on this his hindsight, but gee, the warning signs were there from the start.
The duo lived in separate Skye Suites after their rocky AF honeymoon. And understandably so.
But they also lived apart at several other times as revealed in episode 268 of the So Dramatic! podcast, where one insider has claimed they only lived together for about three weeks.
Leaked messages prove Bronte Schofield knew about Harrison and Abby Miller BEFORE Married at First Sight
We all thought Bronte was first made aware of Harrison’s 21-year-old bae Abby on the day got married.
But according to a source, Bronte was well aware of Harrison was appearing on the show before she got to the altar and Jessica had “sent Bronte a photo of him”.
It was accompanied by a text that read: “This guy has been seeing my friend from Bachelor and he’s going on MAFS too. Keep an eye out for him.” Very ominous, we love it.
Then leaked voice memos of Bronte talking about a plot against Harrison after her BFF Jessica filled her in on his situation with Abby further confirmed this.
At the time Bronte didn’t know who she was going to be matched with, but she can be heard getting excited about a possible marriage between herself and tradie Harrison.
“Oh my God… Like, what am I supposed to do? Like, if one of the other girls gets him, oh my God, I’m dead. Well, you know what? If he is my match, I’m going to f*cking play that to my advantage. Like, holy sh*t. Oh my God,” Bronte said in the memo.
In another memo, Bronte confessed she would “play this up like crazy” the drama between Harrison and Abby and “confront him” about it.
Harrison Boon is grilled over his decision to take a woman’s number on a night out
During the second Dinner Party, Harrison and Dan Hunjas were accused of swapping numbers with women during a wild night out.
After a boy’s night out Harrison calls his mate Adam Seed to tell him about it. But unbeknownst to both of them, Adam’s wife Janelle Han overheard the conversation.
She pulls Tahnee Cook aside to reveal that she overheard Adam on the phone to Harrison and that it was Dan who got a woman’s number.
Harrison thinks he’s off the hook so he takes this as an opportunity to throw Dan under the bus and tells him the group thinks it’s both him and Dan who got numbers.
Later to the producers, Harrison admits he did get a woman’s number, not Dan.
“I got it, deleted it as soon as she walked off,” he says claiming that he didn’t “see it as a big deal”.
“I was laughing it off with my mate.”
Soon everyone catches on to Harrison’s lies. But the tries to avert the blame with some sob story about not wanting to hurt the woman’s feelings.

Sh*t hits the fan during the Partner Swap challenge
Things were pootling along for a few weeks until Harrison did a real doozy on himself.
During the Partner Swap challenge, Bronte and Harrison were asked to swap with Melinda Willis and Layton Mills. A couple they had endured multiple altercations with in recent days.
“Anyone but Melinda,” Harrison said.
The serial gaslighter attempted to shine the spotlight on another “toxic” TV couple in an attempt to take the attention away from his own BS.
Basically a lot of “he said, he said” ensued and Melinda saw it as part of Harrison’s ongoing manipulation.
But things took a really strange turn and the public ganged up on Bronte for “enabling” Harrison‘s abusive behaviour after they tried to wreck Melinda and Layton’s relationship.
Bronte Schofield’s sister Kirra tears Harrison Boon a new one during Home Stays Week
Bronte’s sister Kirra was hailed a hero for addressing the 32-year-old’s manipulative behaviour during Home Stays Week.
“Do you understand how narcissistic that is?” Kirra asked Harrison.
“You’re saying her emotions and how she felt in that time is not valid because you don’t see it that way.”
She went on to call him a “narcissistic, gaslighting d*ckhead” and a “coward” for eventually walking away from the conversation.
But Harrison’s mum, Noni Boon, must have been watching something else entirely because she was having none of it.
After the March 21 episode aired, anti-vaxxer and podcaster launched a vile attack on Kirra, calling her an “alcohol-fuelled troublemaker” with “no life experience”.
“Let’s have a show of hands for who would sit there and let a little girl with no life experiences infer, insult, and cross every relationship boundary imaginable?” Noni asked her followers on Instagram.
What are Bronte and Harrison doing after their time on Married At First Sight?
Bronte and Harrison are no longer together, but no shocks there.
Since MAFS Harrison has taken his relationship with his new girlfriend, 21-year-old construction worker Gina, public.
As revealed in episode 272 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Gina met the fam over the weekend, as she was spotted out for lunch with the builder’s family for his mum’s birthday in Noosa.
As for Bronte, the online beauty educator’s mental health is suffering greatly as she comes to terms with the constant criticism she has faced since MAFS went to air.
She has pulled out of all her interviews while she focuses on getting back on track.
Harrison tries to expose Bronte at the MAFS Reunion for reaching out to Abby
As reported in episode 255 so the So Dramatic! podcast, Bronte reached out to Abby on Facebook just days before the MAFS reunion hoping for clarity on the nature of her relationship with Harrison.
“You don’t have to like me but take Jess out of this, take Harrison out of this, woman to woman. I Honestly just want some clarity,” Bronte asked Abby in leaked messages obtained by So Dramatic!.
“Just a yes or no [to] whether you two were seeing each other for longer than one to two weeks. And did he say he was going to see you on breaks? And did he ask to see you while packing his bags, etc?”
But playing nice didn’t yield the results Bronte wanted, so she switched to bad cop.
“It’s obvious you’re not going to reply. That’s fine. I know you called him last week. Just remember babe, there are two sides to every story,” Bronte wrote.
