Married at First Sight 2023’s Adam Seed’s career prospects are wide open after the jobless groom’s online business reportedly went bust.
While many contestants on MAFS turn their sudden boost in Instagram followers into a lucrative career, the 35-year-old entrepreneur appears to have closed his online giveaway business, Meta Competitions.
The website has been shut down, and the accounts reportedly show a total of just $722 in sales while the UK rewards club was active.

An insider revealed to Woman’s Day that the grim takings were not what Adam had hoped for coming out of the marriage experiment.
“Going on MAFS has had the opposite effect of what he’d hoped,” the source dished and yikes. Looks like his cheating scandal with Claire Nomarhas didn’t do him any favours!
Adam Seed’s Married at First Sight wife Janelle Han grilled the groom about his job
During his stint on the show, Adam was repeatedly grilled by his TV bride Janelle Han for having “no career”.
The 28-year-old beauty influencer first questioned her husband’s financial stability right after their nuptials when she asked Adam about his job and if he had “any stream of income”.
“You said you ran your own businesses?” Janelle asked her new bae.
“Over in the UK, me and my mate started up a competition business. It’s online and you have cool prizes like TVs and tickets to festivals.
“Also, I was gonna launch a podcast, yeah I really wanna do something like that,” Adam added.

Janelle broached the subject again on their honeymoon.
“I don’t really know what you do,” Janelle said to Adam about his now-defunct online business.
Adam was taken aback by the remarks and, in a piece-to-camera, said his wife was “treating [him] like [he] got no money [sic]”.
“She doesn’t know about my investments and crypto; I can support myself, so I don’t know where she’s getting all of this from… She’s casting judgement on me and I’m taking it as that,” Adam continued.
What about Adam Seed’s career prospects as an influencer?
Adam has clocked just 22,000 Instagram followers, which checks out because an expert claimed the 2023 cast doesn’t have what it takes to make it as full-time influencers once the season wraps.
2019 bride Martha Kalifatidis is one of the biggest stars to come out of the show, with 702,000 followers on the platform.

The new mum gained over 200,000 fans whilst her season was airing several years ago, and these numbers have only continued to grow.
Meanwhile, Janelle was already a bonafide TikTok star before her stint on MAFS.
The beauty guru amassed a strong following for transforming herself into movie stars using only makeup.

Perhaps Adam could pick up a makeup brush and try his hand at beauty influencing if he’s hard up for cash…
