Married at First Sight Australia 2023 fans on Twitter are divided on whether Janelle Han had a leg to stand on as she critiqued Crypto bro Adam Seed‘s questionable financial situation.
During the February 1 episode, the makeup artist immediately saw red flags after the 35-year-old “entrepreneur” couldn’t explain how he made a stable income.
Some MAFS viewers could totally understand where she was coming from, especially when she had a previous experience with being forced to financially support an ex-boyfriend.
“I’ve always been the financially stable one. I would really like if I didn’t have to worry about that with my partner. I want someone in a relationship who is career-focused,” Janelle told the experts.
She added: “In Asian culture, it’s really important that they have a good, stable career… I feel like with Adam, I don’t really know exactly what his career is.”

Other Married at First Sight fans felt the 28-year-old was being super hypocritical when she had been in a similar situation before finding success as an influencer.
Adam explained that he was in the “Crypto space” and held “online competitions”, claiming he was trying to build “a little empire”.
As well as working with Cryptocurrency, the business owner revealed that he hoped to start working with NFTs, which are a widely debated digital product in the arts and environmental communities.
However, Adam’s biggest red flag wasn’t his love for Crypto. He also hinted at making a “mistake” in his previous relationship.
