Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Claire Nomarhas has connections with two Aussie reality TV stars from My Kitchen Rules and The Block – one of them being her former boyfriend.
As reported on episode 252 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the 31-year-old kindergarten teacher was newly-single when she said “I do”, having recently split from her former reality star beau.
“Claire had a long-term boyfriend up until three months before filming began in August — they broke up around May,” the insider dished.
They added: “So I find it very interesting that she is on MAFS so soon [after the split].”
The ex-boyfie was none-other than My Kitchen Rules Australia alum Pat Calleja.
He starred in the 2019 season alongside “frenemy” Bianca Braun.
If that surname sounds familiar, it’s because Pat’s brother is Tom Calleja, who appeared on The Block 2022 alongside his controversial wife Sarah-Jane Wilson.
The insider also described Claire as somebody who is “outspoken”, “loves the attention” and “makes herself heard”.
“She does not like it when she is confronted by someone. She will flick a switch very quickly,” they claimed, so we’re starting to wonder if the spy had some beef with Claire, too.
The insider continued: “I’ve witnessed it all with her. Hair pulling, thrown drinks on guys and girls. She’s a very jealous person and will do spiteful things to get back at you.”
Sounds like a MAFS producer’s wet dream!

While Claire’s friendship with our secret spy might be in hot water, it appears Pat still thinks amicably of his ex.
Speaking to So Dramatic!, Pat admitted he was “surprised” that Claire would sign up for Married at First Sight.
“Wow I never saw this coming from her. I am very surprised,” Pat admitted.
He added: “Good luck to her and fingers crossed she doesn’t get mauled.”
With those famous last words, we’re assuming he hasn’t heard Jesse‘s ick list yet!
