The Block Australia 2022‘s fans reckon judges Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker, and Darren Palmer attempted to “gaslight” viewers into thinking Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson’s interior design choices are worthy of winning.
During the October 16 episode, the three judges highly praised House One’s winning guest bedroom for using “so many patterns in a single space”.
“It makes an impact just through the clever choice of fabrics, colours and textures,” Neale said as they inspected the room.
He continued: “Who would have thought that the rattan bedhead would work against that plaid wallpaper?” Not anybody watching at home, that’s for sure!
The Judges’ Glowing Praise Didn’t Convince The Block 2022 Fans of Sarah-Jane’Wilson’s Design Choices
The Block fans felt like the judges were “gaslighting” them about Sarah-Jane’s “OTT” interior design choices.
They quickly took to Twitter to suggest an unfair, positive bias from the judges towards Tom and Sarah-Jane.
Several betting sites have reported that Tom and Sarah-Jane will take out the big win during the finale.
Some fans have even suggested The Block’s editing team trying a little too hard to convince us all that the plaid eyesore is worthy of winning.
