Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Harrison Boon has called out his wedding guest (and reality TV reject) Jessica Tomlinson for trying to “make the day about herself”.
ICYMI: During the MAFS premiere, The Bachelors Australia 2023 contestant told bride Bronte Schofield that she recognised Harrison, as he dated her friend (and co-star) Abby Miller right up until the wedding.
“She told me about this guy that’s going to go on MAFS and that she has been dating for the last month and a half… It’s him, it’s Harrison,” she told Bronte at the nuptials, before also exposing that he also had a three-year-old son.

Speaking on Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa show, Harrison denied keeping in contact with any of his previous dates, including Bachie alum Abby Miller.
“A lot that came out, not a lot of that is true. It’s true that I was single. It’s true that I was dating but the idea of having a relationship during [or] after the show, that’s not true,” Harrison claimed.
The construction worker revealed that he told the multiple women he had been dating that he was going to give MAFS his all and had no plans of rekindling their romance post-filming.
“I made that 100 per cent clear to everyone I was seeing before I went in there,” Harrison said.
In particular, he confirmed that Abby wasn’t “waiting for” him on “the outside“.
“She’s got her own life. She knew exactly what I was doing. I was very upfront about it. We actually said our goodbyes and that was a bit of time before I went into the experiment and got married,” he said.

Harrison has also hit back at the tea spiller on air, slamming Jessica for bringing up his dating history and child.
“I was going to wait until I was firmly in a relationship until I could chat about who I am. [But] my history and also my [son] got brought up in a really negative way,” Harrison said.
The construction worker continued: “I really felt like that moment of explaining my private life was ripped out from under me and done in such a negative way by this guest at our wedding.
“[She] was clearly just trying to make the day about herself and ruin our moment.”
But it appears that Jessica isn’t the only one ready to spill tea about what really happened.
Abby herself has hinted on social media that she is ready to share some major tea about the scandal.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram after the January 30 premiere, posting a selfie with the tea cup emoji as her caption.
