The Married at First Sight Australia 2023 male contestants will be faced with multiple villain edits across the season and honestly, nobody is safe.

While Harrison Boon and Jesse Burford were early outliers as on- and off-screen villains, MAFS producers have already had their fingers in other pies as they attempt to stir more drama than ever before.

It appears the showrunners have decided to focus on their insidious efforts on the male cohort this year, since Married at First Sight 2022 saw an onslaught of female villains like Olivia Frazer and Carolina Santos.

But as reported in episode 253 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Shannon Adams and Adam Seed will join Harrison and Jesse in the hot seat in upcoming episodes. They’ve all been very, very bad boys…

Harrison Boon

Married at First Sight Australia 2023 Harrison has faced allegations of racismcheating and gaslighting, as well as being emotionally abusive and an anti-vaxxer. And that was practically all in week one!

One insider confirmed with So Dramatic! that the 32-year-old construction worker is set to be the “chief villain” of MAFS 2023, following the dodgy AF footsteps of Bryce Ruthven.

“Harrison is 100 per cent the next Bryce. He’ll be a lot of the show, him and Bronte [Schofield], they are just up and down and 24/7, back and forth the entire time like toxic ping pong,” the spy revealed.

Nobody (and we mean, NOBODY!) is surprised that Harrison Boon is a Married at First Sight villain

Another source confirmed that Harrison is the one to drag Bronte into scandals.

“She’s going to be involved in a lot of drama this season purely because her husband Harrison being a divisive personality,” they said.

Well, we’ve certainly seen THAT already, so we can’t say that we’re surprised.

But it turns out, neither was he! The father-of-one seemingly embraced the TV villain title and we honestly don’t know if that’s a good thing or not.

In a New Year’s Instagram post featuring his three-year-old son, Harrison wrote: “this year I’m most grateful to be called Dad. Bring on 2023.”

Totally normal, right? Yeah, until he replied to a friend’s comment by adding he would be “the villain of 2023.” Is that seriously something these people are boasting about now?!

The Instagram user replied: “Haha if you are I will die.”

“Just you wait,” Harrison teased. Ugh, talk about icks!

A second mate wrote: “Let the haters hate while you thrive on the haters. Good luck, I’ll call it Bryce 2.0.”

Adam Seed

But according to another insider, Adam might just steal the ‘biggest d*ckhead 2k23′ crown from Harrison’s overly smug head.

“He will definitely be the number one villain this season. He treats Janelle [Han] pretty bad,” the source said.

As first reported by So Dramatic!, Adam will also be embroiled in the first cheating scandal of the year.

Ahh, some things never change…

Shannon Adams

Not to be outdone, one of Shannon’s (former) friends reached out to So Dramatic! to spill some tea.

“I went to school with Shannon Adams. Biggest flog. Still is. He will be a villain for sure,” the source claimed.

They continued: “He loved himself sick back in the day so I’m very interested to see how he acts on the show. He def ain’t on there to find love.

Another 2023 contestant confirmed that Shannon turns out to be problematic AF.

“Shannon is definitely going to be a villain early on in the season and there is a borderline domestic abuse situation,” his co-star said.

They added: “You have no idea how bad he gets.”

Are there any female villains in Married at First Sight Australia 2023?

Our So Dramatic! spies have confirmed that there was very little drama between the female MAFS contestants in 2023. No OnlyFans scandal? Hallelujah!

“There’s no female villain this year from what I can gather, all the girls got along quite well, but a lot of the tifs were aimed at Bronte because of her husband,” an insider claimed.

But, come on, there aren’t many reality stars who come out of Married at First Sight totally unscathed…

Melinda Willis

Insiders claimed the closest we will get to a female villain this year is Melinda Willis.

Married at First Sight fans weren’t sure what to make of the 32-year-old businesswoman after she made numerous quick judgements about her TV groom Layton Mills.

But she gained far more praise in the next episode after calling out Harrison’s BS.

And it sounds like she’ll continue that streak throughout the 2023 season.

“She is very brutal, blunt, honest and has no filter,” one insider revealed. “She calls it how she sees it and has no problems calling people out for their BS. She involves herself in a lot of the drama.

“She’s a very dominating personality.”

They went on to explain that Melinda is “very outspoken” and doesn’t say things in a “compassionate way.”

“She says things with pure intent, not in a very kind way, very tough love approach,” the added.

Claire Nomarhas

After the first Dinner Party, Claire has come out on top as a fan favourite thanks to her emotional intelligence and “forgive but don’t forget” outlook with certified man-child, Jesse.

But sources who know Claire IRL reckon she has a “fiery and outspoken” personality that could rival Domenica Calarco.

They also speculated that Claire would be 2023’s Domenica and to be fair, we can definitely see the similarities in their personalities.

Just like the incident that sparked the infamous glass smash, Claire has been faced with Jesse making cruel comments about how she talks.

But contradictory to what we’ve seen so far, the source also claimed that Claire is an “extremely volatile” and “dominating” person who will “blow up” if she hears something that she “doesn’t like”.

So Dramatic! Daily podcast

The source said: “I’ve seen with my own eyes her get into fights when we went out, she would throw drinks at people and do some really dodgy things… I’ve witnessed it all with her. Hair pulling, throwing drinks on guys and girls.

“She does not like it when she is confronted by someone. She will flick a switch very quickly and go crazy. She is a very jealous person and will do spiteful things to get back at you.”

Married at First Sight 2023’s Claire Nomarhas had numerous sources predicting she will be a villain

A schoolmate dished that Claire one to watch, revealing she “caused a lot of trouble in high school”.

They added: “She’s very loud and outspoken and will definitely be a villain. Let me just say, she has a serious crazy streak in her.”

“She’s going to be polarising. You will either love her or hate her,” another source added.

Yet another close contact claimed that Claire apparently hated Married at First Sight and “always spoke poorly of the show’s concept”. Yeah, that doesn’t really sound like someone who believes they could find “true love” on reality TV.

The source concluded that they felt “sorry for her new husband”. But NGL, we’re gonna need a lot more proof before we feel bad for Jesse…
