Married at First Sight Australia 2021‘s Bryce Ruthven is headed for TV again on an all-new show as if his last appearance was a raging success.

The TV groom infamously became Australia’s “most hated man” thanks to his controversial antics in the marriage experiment.

Now, it seems he’s trying to make a new name for himself — as a game show contestant!

As reported in episode 249 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one lucky spy was privy to Bryce’s latest telly attempt.

“Spotted: Bryce at The 1% Club taping,” they said. “It’s a new game show with Jim Jefferies coming to Seven.”

The series is already popular AF in the UK and is styled as an IQ test with a twist. An interesting choice for Bryce, but hey, we’ll bite!

According to the source, old mate “did not do well” and failed to win any cash money.

“He also talked about how he was in sports turf management.” HUH?!

The insider clarified that Bryce said he is currently working as someone who manages lawns at sports grounds.

“He talked about some VFL turf on the Mornington Peninsula he was working at,” they said. “No references to his time in radio or on TV.”

Throwback to 2022: host Megan Pustetto reported that Bryce was working in landscaping, and he denied it! Looks like the truth is finally out!

The spy concluded: “They talked to a lot of people so it might not even make the edited show that premieres later in the year on Seven.”

Married at First Sight‘s Bryce Ruthven previously sought out a TV news gig

After having sh*t luck when it comes to keeping a job in the radio industry, So Dramatic! revealed in July 2022 that Bryce had pivoted to seeking a TV reporter gig.

As disclosed in episode 202 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one insider slid into our DMs with some “spicy Bryce-related tea”.

“I have a friend who works at WIN News in Ballarat — and guess who just applied for a job as a reporter there?” they said.

It comes after Bryce revealed he is suing ARN for $333,000 for revoking a job offer with Launceston’s Chilli FM in early 2022.
