Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Melinda Willis clashed with Harrison Boon after finding out about his “secret girlfriend” at the explosive first Dinner Party.
As reported in episode 253 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a MAFS contestant has revealed the two TV villains sparked a huge feud after the “alpha female” called him out for his IRL relationship with The Bachelors’ Abby Miller.
After “grilling” Harrison during the Dinner Party, Melinda was reportedly “shocked” that her new friend Bronte Schofield fell for his lies.
“[Harrison] tries to spin his BS about Abby not waiting for him on the outside and Jess [Tomlinson] setting him up to try to get herself airtime. But Melinda is having none of it,” our insider revealed.
They added: “She could see straight through his lies and was shocked Bronte was falling for it. It made no sense to her.
“She could tell he was full of sh*t and pulling the wool over Bronte’s eyes.”
However, she also thought Layton Mills was being “fake” and tricking her loved ones… So, it’s not a big leap to assume her trust levels for men aren’t high. Honestly, same tho…
Melinda even asked him why he would apply for MAFS if he had “no trouble finding love”.
“His story wasn’t adding up either. Melinda peppered him with questions and he eventually comes undone. He finally admits to seeing Abby and that he didn’t cut it off with her before MAFS,” our spy said.
“I do have some advice for Bronte and its run. Fast,” Melinda could be heard saying in a promo for the explosive event.

During the February 5 episode, fans suspected that Harrison’s wandering eye would match up with Melinda’s total lack of interest in her TV groom.
While we can’t exactly see that happening after their spat in the February 6 episode, it seems pretty obvious that Melinda is going to be crowned the biggest female villain of 2023. She’ll probs be on the cover of MAXIM by this time next year!
But, of course, she won’t be outdone by Harrison.
He has already received significant (and totally justified) backlash about his reported cheating, lying and gaslighting on the show, as well as his anti-vaxxer stance and racist Instagram posts.
There’s no coming back from all of that!
