Married at First Sight Australia 2023, groom Layton Mills may be new to the marriage game, but it’s not his first reality TV rodeo.
Insiders have told the publication that the pair — who wed at Darling Harbour — will be a “stand-out” couple in the upcoming season. This means they’ll either be the couple going up in flames or the next Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant.
However, getting his romance on at first sight may not be too big of a problem for Layton because the newly minted groom tried his luck on First Dates Australia in 2016 and got lucky he did!
In an interview following the airing of his First Dates episode, the reality star confessed he and Lani Starkey hooked up FOUR times after meeting on the show.
However, it wasn’t a long-term thing seeing as old mate is now leaving his boots under his new wife’s bed!
What Else Do We Know About Layton Mills?
While there’s no news on what Layton may be like as a husband, he certainly has some impressive professional credentials.
The groom is the founder and director of several pharmaceutical companies that produce cannabinoid-based medicines.
His LinkedIn also revealed that he helms an advanced diploma in business management and marketing.
Layton describes himself as an experienced entrepreneur, having worked in the life-sciences and consumer goods industries for over 13 years.
He’s also hella tatted up (and mates with former Big Brother star Jason Roses), which is a big tick in our books — lucky Melinda!
Body ink aside, we’re sure Layton and his expert-appointed bae will get along swimmingly.
After all, Melinda is also an entrepreneur and founder of Feather Sisters — a beauty website that hit over $1 million in sales in 2020 alone.
