In proof that Married at First Sight Australia 2023 is going to be bigger and better than ever, one wedding took place on a $16 million yacht.
Melinda Willis was photographed tying the knot on The Jackson, a superyacht known as one of the biggest in Sydney Harbour.
The boat reportedly took six years to build and took place in early 2022 after several COVID delays.
The Jackson yacht can hold up to 700 guests at any time and costs anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 to hire. Go off, MAFS 2023 production budget!
Bride Melinda is just one of several influencers to sign on to the marriage experiment, helming over 150k followers on Instagram. So the glamourous yacht venue is perfect for this bombshell!
The Queenslander is also a qualified beauty therapist and makeup artist who owns Feather Sisters — a beauty website that hit over $1 million in sales in 2020 alone!
Do We Know Who Married at First Sight 2023‘s Melinda Willis Marries On the Superyacht?
Melinda’s husband was recently unveiled as Layton Mills, who also has an entrepreneurial streak.
The groom is the founder and director of several pharmaceutical companies that produce cannabinoid-based medicines, having worked in the life-sciences and consumer goods industries for over 13 years.
His LinkedIn also revealed that he helms an advanced diploma in business management and marketing.
He’s also hella tatted up (and mates with former Big Brother star Jason Roses), which is a big tick in our books.
Layton’s friendships are not where his reality TV connections stop, however.
In fact, he previously tried his luck at love on First Dates Australia in 2016.
While Layton and Lani Starkey didn’t find long-term romance, they did hook up a few times post-show.
