The Bachelors 2023 contestant at the centre of Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s “biggest ever scandal” was dating TV groom Harrison Boon until his wedding day.
It was recently unveiled that a doozy drama rocked the 10th season of MAFS after bride Bronte Schofield‘s maid of honour (and Bachie contestant) Jessica Tomlinson recognised Harrison as her co-star’s bae.
Now, So Dramatic! can exclusively reveal that The Bachelors suitor in question was seeing Harrison until he left to film the show.
Sliding into our DMs, a source close to the contestant said she’d been “seeing him” for several weeks in the lead-up to his wedding.
“She saw him the day he left to go on the show,” the source explained.
While Harrison originally said “he would message her and try and see her on weekends off” during filming, the father of one quickly “got scared”.
“I think producers might have scared him saying you can not talk to anyone,” the insider continued.
“So he said he couldn’t see her anymore the night after the wedding and blocked her on Instagram.”
Or, perhaps he actually likes his expert-appointed wife? Stranger things have happened!
What happened at Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon’s Married at First Sight 2023 wedding?
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, Harrison was “exposed at his wedding for hooking up with another woman hours before walking down the aisle”.
“As soon as the groom arrived at the ceremony, the maid of honour knew she recognised him from somewhere,” the insider explained.
“She couldn’t believe it when she eventually realised it was the guy her friend was hooking up with.”
Daily Mail Australia later added that an insider said Jessica was “desperate to get her five minutes of fame” in deciding “to tell Bronte on camera”.
