Married at First Sight Australia 2023 is already underway with filming (God help us) and rumour has it that new bride Bronte Schofield will give 2021’s Coco Stedman a run for her money.
The incoming participant is the next in a series of MAFS 2023 brides who have already been unveiled and let’s just say the line-up is most definitely full of people looking for love. Take that as you will.
Bronte is a Perth-based influencer who boasts over 11,000 followers on Instagram and was papped by the Daily Mail Australia attending the hen’s night at The Crossways Estate in Sydney’s Centennial Park in early August.
According to the publication, the glamourous bride is hoping to meet her Prince Charming on Nine’s infamous experiment. And yep, MAFS equalling everlasting love? Rarely heard of it.
A close friend of the newly minted bride expressed that Bronte is “an amazing chick” and isn’t backwards in coming forward.
“She speaks her mind and isn’t afraid of confrontation,” they told the Daily Mail.
Another pal added: “It’s going to be drama filled with her involved that’s for sure!”
As the new participants find their footing, one on-set source promised that Bronte will be “the next Coco Stedman“.
Does that mean we’ll be privy to more obscure rap references and another cheating scandal? Please say yes!
Bronte Schofield’s TV wedding ‘SABOTAGED’
Touted as Married at First Sight‘s “biggest ever scandal”, Bronte’s wedding day was reported to be “sabotaged” by friend and guest Jessica Tomlinson, who is also a contestant on The Bachelors 2023.
In December 2022, it was unveiled Jessica recognised her friend’s new hubby Harrison Boon as one of her own co-star’s bae.
The debacle was hinted at in a teaser trailer for the upcoming series, with Jessica pulling Bronte aside following her nuptials to spill the tea.
So Dramatic! also exclusively revealed that The Bachelors suitor in question was seeing Harrison until he left to film the show.
Sliding into our DMs, a source close to the contestant said she’d been “seeing him” for several weeks in the lead-up to his wedding.
“She saw him the day he left to go on the show,” the source explained.
Harrison originally said “he would message her and try and see her on weekends off” during filming. However, the father of one quickly “got scared”.
