It’s been alleged that Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Harrison Boon and Bronte Schofield rarely lived together while filming the show.
As fans will be aware, the couple had a bumpy journey (to say the least), with the duo living in separate Skye Suites after their rocky AF honeymoon.
However, they soon got over it and shacked back up, seemingly living the high life together until the pointy end of the experiment.
Now, as reported in episode 268 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one insider has claimed not all was as it seemed for Harrison, Bronte and their living arrangements.
The source alleged that the couple only lived under the same roof for about three weeks.
And when they did, it was mayhem.
“They only lived in the same apartment for a few weeks and didn’t even share a bed,” they claimed, adding that Bronte slept on the couch due to “Harrison’s excessive snoring”.
“She would be using her rain app to help her get to sleep and block out the noise, and he would yell at her and tell her to turn it off because it disturbed his sleep. So she got booted to the couch.”
The insider also attested that the groom told Bronte she needed to “listen to snoring on YouTube so she could get used to it”.
Married at First Sight‘s Harrison Boon’s behaviour reportedly contributed to split living arrangements

A second source told host Megan Pustetto revealed even more about Harrison and Bronte’s split living arrangements, alleging that they weren’t cohabitating because of the groom’s behaviour towards his wife.
“Bronte refused to live with Harrison after the Retreat,” they claimed. “She was scared to be around him.
“His eyes get angry, he would yell at her on the way home from Commitment Ceremonies. He was emotionally abusive to her.
“He has really bad anger issues. Bronte said it was actually terrifying and he would bang things, slam doors, throw stuff, yell at her.”
The Western Australian proceeded to request her own room because Harrison would allegedly “come home so drunk” and “try to get handsy with her”.
“It made her extremely uncomfortable,” the insider reported.

However, the source claimed that individual rooms weren’t enough to separate Bronte from Harrison, forcing production to bring reinforcements.
“They had to get two producers, who were these kinda big men, to stand outside Bronte’s room and escort her out when she needed to go out because she felt so scared of Harrison,” they alleged.
The claims emerge after sources close to Bronte reported that her TV husband “fat-shamed” and “sexually exploited” her during the series.
