Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Harrison Boon has been exposed for trolling and writing problematic and downright horrible comments about past participants.
So Dramatic! has exclusively uncovered numerous absolutely f*cked posts that the 32-year-old construction worker has shared to Married at First Sight and “trash” TV Facebook commentary groups over the years.
Despite claiming on his public Facebook that MAFS is “morally corrupt” in 2019, turns out Harrison has actually been watching the show religiously for at least the last four years.
In fact, he’s a secret reality TV superfan, sharing a tonne of cringe-worthy memes of himself watching MAFS and even giving himself the title of “fourth judge.” And uhh, FYI they’re actually called “experts”…
Many of the part-time stripper’s posts included homophobic, transphobic, racist, misogynistic and fatphobic insults towards past participants. Harrison has also body-shamed, sex-shamed and victim-blamed multiple reality TV contestants over the years.

Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Harrison Boon ironically calls 2021 bride Beck Zemek a ‘narcissist’ on Facebook
During 2021, Harrison penned numerous attacks against Married at First Sight’s Beck Zemek. He repeatedly described her as a “narcissist” who doesn’t take “responsibility’ for her “abhorrent” behaviour.
NGL, we can’t tell if Harrison just discovered Synonyms.com or if he’s just had the exact same words used to describe him so many times that it actually stuck.
“Complete narcissist. Never her fault, won’t take responsibility for not being into him she has to blame him. It’s so pathetic,” Harrison said.
Hmmm, doesn’t that sound eerily similar to his exact response to Bronte Schofield after they had sex?! And what his “secret girlfriend” Abby Miller recently called him on Instagram?
Harrison continued in another post: “Typical narcissist won’t admit she’s unhappy but instead will blame the other party. They (narcissists) simply cannot accept personal responsibility.”
PS. Let’s not forget Bronte actually called Harrison exactly that: “a narcissist.”
In a subsequent post, he called Beck’s behaviour “abhorrent and predictable”.
He claimed that Beck would “love bomb” a partner because “that’s how the cycle of narc abuse goes”.
“She’s a narc [narcissist]. And she isn’t into him. So she will be dismissive and everything he does will be drama. Narcs aren’t decent honest people, so she will put in bare minimum and blame him for everything.
“Nothing he does will be good enough and she will constantly look for opportunities to criticise him and make him the bad guy.”
Sounds like someone talking from experience, NGL! The blatant irony would be hilarious if it wasn’t so goddamn frustrating!
Harrison Boon slut-shames and body-shames Married at First Sight 2021’s Beck Zemek
Harrison then went on to slut-shame the MAFS alum by claiming she was “stinging for an opportunity to get the kit off on national TV“.
“Pathetic. Who does a chat about the problems in their relationship in a bathtub? So transparent [sic],” Harrison claimed.
Harrison left no stone unturned when it came to Beck, also attacking her looks by calling her “horse face”. No words…
He also randomly called her mum “a flog” and told them both to “f*ck off.”
Harrison Boon calls Married at First Sight 2021’s Jake Edwards a ‘simp’ after he talked about his attempted suicide
**TRIGGER WARNING: The following section discusses suicide and may be triggering for some readers.
Former footballer and Married at First Sight 2021 star Jake Edwards opened up on 60 Minutes in 2017 about his attempted suicide and called for more mental health awareness for young men.
When the interview was shared to a private MAFS fan group on Facebook, Harrison commented: “To be honest, I cannot stand this simp.
“He’s using mental health and a sob story to get famous. ‘I tried to end my life, poor me waaa.’.. Bro a middle-class white guy raised by wealthy parents stfu [sic]. There’s people out there actually struggling.”
The word ‘simp’ is a slang insult used to troll men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women.
Other members of the Facebook group called Harrison out for being “heartless”, “cold” and trivialising somebody’s depression.
One user also pointed out that Jake did the 60 Minutes interview “long before his current MAFS stint.”
However, Harrison doubled down on his comments saying, “You don’t have to have to agree but his ‘depression’ is by all means trivial. I think he’s playing the victim to get famous.”
He argued that mental health awareness was “important” but he believed that Jake was “using it to profit from it”.
He concluded: “Jake Edwards is a flop.”
Harrison Boon slams Married at First Sight 2021’s Bryce Ruthven for being a serial gaslighter
Harrison even complained about (his doppelganger) Bryce Ruthven being a “gaslighter”. Pot, meet kettle!
The 32-year-old radio announcer was a hot topic for the 2023 villain, as Harrison consistently shared his reactions to Bryce and Melissa Rawson‘s tumultuous relationship.
One of his first posts about Bryce in 2021 read: “I’ve decided I’m going to enjoy the destruction of Bryce.”
Many of his arguments are so hilariously similar to what fans have been saying about him and Bronte. Seriously, you could swap out their names in every post and it would still fit perfectly.
In one post, Harrison wrote: “Wow my god. This guy is unbelievable. Melissa is being played like a piano.”
Two days later, he added: “Bryce’s skin is legit paper thin. It’s an Aussie tradition to laugh off shit-stirring, apologise and shake hands and be mates. Not run home like a little b*tch.”
And umm, says the guy whose mum literally defended him after he copped a tiny bit of criticism for his behaviour…
But our favourite is the post where Harrison edited Bryce’s face onto a literal gaslight asking “Does anyone else love a classic gas light? [sic]” You can’t make this sh*t up!
TBH, we reckon Harrison may have unconsciously noticed Bryce’s dodgy personality hit a little too close to home during his analysis of him.
Harrison Boon fat-shames and makes homophobic slurs about Married at First Sight 2021’s Sam Carraro and James Susler
Bryce, Jake and Beck weren’t the only contestants in Harrison’s firing line in 2021. He also fat-shamed and insulted some of the grooms too. He described Sam Carraro as “a fat 90s Eminem.”
The father-of-one also made a homophobic slur about James Susler, calling him “gay” and “embarrassing”, before moving on to criticise his clothing.
“Who wears a ducking purple turtleneck to get married? Like is this guy serious?” he asked.
“Looks like a gay Bond villain from the 80s FFS how embarrassing.”
Adding: “Bloke dresses like a cheap magician.”
Harrison Boon sex-shames Married at First Sight 2021’s Belinda Vickers
Harrison then went on to criticise 2021 bride Belinda Vickers‘ sexual performance saying he had “seen better [acting] in porn”, before calling her “frigid.”
Yikes! These posts are seriously like the modern-day equivalent of Regina George’s ‘Burn Book’ but much, much worse.
Harrison Boon shared sexist posts about a number of Married at First Sight 2020’s female cast members
Harrison also had it out for the women who appeared on Married at First Sight 2020, readily dolling out misogynistic and slut-shaming comments.
In particular, Harrison made numerous crude statements about female contestants Connie Crayden and Hayley Vernon.
Harrison claimed that Connie had “issues” and was “draining to watch”.
“It’s like she sucks the energy right out of me just listening to her whiny, whinging voice,” he said.
He also alleged that Connie was “gagging for it,” adding an eggplant emoji and a side eye emoji.
The phrase ‘gagging for it’ is used to describe someone who has a strong desire for something; usually sex.
Sharing a selfie of himself drinking a can of beer, Harrison wrote: “When you realise you hate Connie.”
Harrison said in another post, “Cathy [Evans] is the new Connie.” Yeah, we have no clue what that means either…
He also described Hayley as “the biggest f*ckwit on TV” and claimed she “made [his] blood boil”.
Harrison Boon accuses Lizzie Sobinoff of taking drugs and calls her ‘unhinged’ before defending her fat-shaming husband Sam Ball
In a series of other posts made that year, Harrison claimed that returning MAFS bride Lizzie Sobinoff was “unhinged” and accused her of taking drugs.
“Her new Byron Bay laid-back energy is all for show. She’s found ketamine and lip fillers; that’s the only thing that’s changed,” Harrison commented on another user’s inflammatory post.
So Dramatic! is in no way saying that Lizzie has ever taken drugs.
He continued: “She’s still the exact same clown she was before, except now it’s more subdued and without winged eyeliner.
“Honestly, I was hoping she’d matured and evolved but all the wants to do is keeping playing the victim and vilifying Sam. Sad [sic].”
In another reply, Harrison suggested that Lizzie had “major hang-ups” and “takes no responsibility for acting the way she did”.
“He’s a piece of sh*t for cheating and she was cringe AF trying to feed him strawberries and just blame him for their lack of connection,” Harrison said.
He also claimed that Lizzie liked her second groom Seb Guilhaus because he was “the only guy to like her for more than five minutes”. Yikes!
Harrison Boon made fatphobic comments about Lizzie Sobinoff’s mum and attacked other reality TV star’s parents
The professional gaslighter didn’t limit his trolling to just the reality TV stars, having gone out of his way to body shame Lizzie’s mum Gillian Sobinoff.
Another user made fatphobic comments about Gillian’s weight, claiming it was okay to joke about because it was “just one fat chick having a go at another”.
“So Lizzie’s mum just said, ‘when I start something, I make sure I finish it even if I hate it‘. Well obviously, she never started a diet,” the user wrote.
Harrison commented on the post: “She was obviously talking about a Snickers bar.”
In a separate post, he continued: “The only thing Lizzie’s mum has ever finished is a box of Cadbury favourites… I think she’s paying Cadbury’s electricity bill.”
Harrison also called The Bachelor Australia’s Izzy Sharman-Firth‘s mum a “sick f*ck” after she made an uncomfortable comment about Locky Gilbert‘s sperm.
“Bruh, she’s a feminist asking a man for sperm… you couldn’t write this sh*t,” Harrison said.
In another comment, he shared what he would have said to her mum if he was Locky: “How about, ‘I’m all for feminism but you’re not having my sperm. I’m not a bull you’re going to stud your daughter you sick f*ck’ [sic].”
Harrison Boon makes a transphobic comment about Married at First Sight 2020’s Hayley Vernon
Hayley Vernon has repeatedly been forced to speak out against transphobic comments since her stint on Married at First Sight 2021.
Harrison joined other trolls in claiming that Hayley was ‘lying‘ about her genitalia (which is literally none of anybody’s business!).
When another user claimed that Hayley should make pornography, Harrison replied: “She has a penis though.”
In another post, Harrison suggested that another user illegally share Hayley’s OnlyFans content so he could forward it to “the boys’ group chat“. WTAF?!
Harrison Boon victim-blamed Married at First Sight 2020’s Poppy Jennings after she revealed she was sexually assaulted
Harrison even went as far as to victim-blame Poppy Jennings. The 2020 bride made allegations that she was sexually abused during filming.
Commenting underneath a post that Poppy had shared detailing her experience on the show, Harrison labelled it “bullshit” and described her as a “miserable dog.”
“It’s reality and anyone saying it scripted or fake is usually trying to justify their shitty existence,” he wrote.
“F*ck poppy the miserable dog trying to blame sexual assault on an innocent man. She can fall down a well for all I care.”
Harrison Boon makes homophobic assumptions about Married at First Sight 2020’s Steve Burley and The Bachelorette 2020’s Jake Ricciardo
The shocking comments about the Married at First Sight 2020 cast continued as Harrison made problematic assumptions about Steve Burley’s sexuality.
“Let’s be honest, Steve’s gay,” Harrison claimed. He added: “Steve wins the #wastehertime2020challenge.”
His homophobic commentary didn’t stop at Married at First Sight, however.
Harrison also made a similar claim about Jake Ricciardo, who dressed up in a cupid costume on Elly and Becky Miles’ season of The Bachelorette Australia in 2020.
“Cupid is definitely gay,” Harrison claimed. Adding that he ‘definitely doesn’t like vaginas.’
Harrison also dropped some casual racism into the mix saying that Black contestant Ab Sow was only on the show for “racial variety” and hun, the phrase you’re looking for is “racial diversity.” FYI!
Harrison Boon claims Carlin Sterritt is ‘100% gay’ and insults a number of other reality stars
He also claimed that The Bachelorette’s Carlin Sterritt was “100% gay” and claimed Angie Kent had the “personality of a brick”.
Similarly, he described MAFS 2021 bride Samantha Harvey as “the most vanilla contestant ever” and NGL, that’s a compliment compared to his other comments.
In other posts, he called MAFS 2019 bride Cyrell Paule “ferral [sic]” and described 2020 groom Russel ‘Rusty’ Duance as “cringe.”
Seriously, nobody is safe from Harrison at this point…
Harrison Boon also took aim at The Bachelor’s Bella Varelis, Locky Gilbert and Irena Sbrinovska
Harrison appears to not only be a huge MAFS fan but also a huge fan of The Bachelor.
In a number of posts from 2020, he took aim at Bella Varelis, Locky Gilbert and Irena Sbrinovska.
The tradie expressed that he didn’t know what Locky “saw in Bella” and that “watching her lose” was the “highlight of his night.”
In a subsequent post, he bagged out Locky and Irena’s engagement announcement calling it “cringe.”
Speaking of “cringe”… Let’s finish off with the most cringe-worthy post of all from Harrison…
Aside from insulting numerous people, he shared an article of himself (read: humble brag) appearing in Kyle and Jackie O’s ‘Naked Dating’ segment.
He wrote: “That time I made trash TV. Cringe.” And no, the irony is not lost on us…
Oh, and FYI, there were PLENTY more Facebook posts from Harrison that didn’t make it into this article… Big yikes!
