The Bachelor 2020‘s Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska have announced they’ve finally purchased their first house together.
The couple took to Instagram on Monday with a happy snap revealing their “home sweet home”.
“We bought a house!!” they penned in a joint post, further revealing that the plan was to renovate their new love nest. “Let the celebrations sorry renovations begin [sic].”
“It’s taken a while to find our perfect (renovators dream) home in our favourite location but we got there and we are so excited to make this our home. [sic]”
Adding that they’re “super eager” to see what the future has in store, Locky and Irena confessed it was “good to finally set some roots” following a number of travels.
“Now let the renovations begin,” they concluded. “But first a quick celebratory drink or two.”

Irena Srbinovska Previously Spoke About the House Hunting Process
Irena previously revealed the struggles she and Locky were facing amid house hunting during an Instagram Q&A in December 2021.
One follower mused that “house hunting is stressful”, wondering what the duo are looking for in a property.
Irena confessed that while “it’s so hard”, they were looking for the perfect place to call home at the time.
However, they were confident about remaining in South Perth because Irena “can’t move away from the swans”!
“We are looking for a home that we will be in until the kids grow out of it,” she added. “So it’s hard at the moment.”
