The Bachelorette Australia alum Angie Kent has apologised for not being “honest” about her getting cosmetic injections or “fillers”.

Speaking on her Two Girls One Pod podcast, Angie revealed she felt “guilty” about not being open about her cosmetic work in the past, having previously said that she just “gained weight”.

“I do want to apologise because I should have been more honest. I just told people I gained weight,” Angie said.

Angie Kent Reflects on Her Cosmetic Procedures and Fillers

The 32-year-old reality star explained she started getting botox at 26 and was initially “open” about having work done.

But in 2020, Angie (feeling “vulnerable” after her public break up with Carlin Sterritt) met with a medispa nurse who encouraged her to get a lot of lip, cheek and jaw filler.

“My whole face was transformed in two months, and that sort of work should have taken a year,” Angie recalled.

The reality star – who has previously been open about struggling with body dysmorphia – revealed she had a “cannula” in her chin and her eyes for one procedure and “couldn’t smile” or push the bottom of her mouth down after the treatments.

Angie Kent Admits She Looked “Really Different” After Getting Work Done

Angie knew that she had started to look “really different”, and her Gogglebox Australia co-star Yvie Jones admitted she had “such a shock” and was “freaked out” when she saw her friend during that time.

However, she publicly denied getting work because she was “so embarrassed” and was “sick of getting picked on”.

“I still look at myself and go ‘, I don’t know if I’m fully back yet’, but I’m way more back than I was,” Angie said.

After watching herself on Dancing with the Stars, Angie decided to try to reverse some of the work and this year, she started getting some of her filler dissolved.
