Former The Bachelorette star Angie Kent has added another notch to her reality TV belt with her new hosting gig on Nine’s OTHER reno show Space Invaders.

Angie will join “clutter organiser” Peter Walsh and pro renovator Cherie Barber in Space Invaders‘ third season, helping everyday Aussies reorganise and redesign their family homes.

The 32-year-old is currently renovating a Queensland property that she’s named Jessica, which has been described as a “yurt” (side note: not loving a central Asian cultural hut being claimed as fun reno slang).

The self-confessed “collector” of “tea towels and teacup candles” admitted that her new Marie Kondo-esque role would be a “learning” journey but claimed she was being shown the ropes on the show by the “best of the best”.

“The team is magical. What we get up to is magical. I can’t wait to share season three with you all,” Angie wrote on Instagram.

What Is Angie Kent’s Role In Space Invaders Season Three?

Production company WTFN’s entertainment director Steve Oemcke told TV Tonight that Angie’s “zest for life” made her “perfect co-host” for Space Invaders, after Lucas Callaghan‘s departure.

“Angie will be the custodian of each family’s most treasured possessions, discovering the story behind them and helping bring them back to life,” Steve said, explaining the star’s biggest asset was her “fascination with people”.

Space Invaders will be Angie’s fifth TV gig since she first appeared on Gogglebox Australia back in 2015.

She’s since starred on The Bachelorette Australia, Dancing with the Stars, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia and DWTS All Stars.

Space Invaders season three is currently in production and are still on the hunt for New South Wales-based cast members who want to revitalise their family home. Seasons one and two are streaming on 9now.
