Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Harrison Boon has baffled fans after he accused Bronte Schofield of “gaslighting” and if it isn’t the pot calling the kettle black.

During the February 13 episode, the TV couple were at each other’s throats (again!) after the 32-year-old groom revealed that he wanted to leave the experiment.

Bronte slammed Harrison for being a “narcissist” and “blindsiding” her at the Commitment Ceremony by writing “leave” after telling her over text that he wasn’t “going anywhere”.

“When times get tough, he literally chose to leave,” Bronte said in an interview-to-camera.

The next morning, Harrison accused Bronte of “textbook gaslighting” him, as he claimed that his text reading “I’m not going anywhere” didn’t mean he was going to stay.

“You’re gaslighting me. You’re saying I said something I didn’t say,” Harrison said.

“You say I’m gaslighting you. You’re literally sitting there gaslighting me! You’re a narcissist, Harrison,” Bronte replied.

After she (rightfully) stormed out, Harrison said to the camera: “I won’t allow Bronte to play the victim and then say things that are not accurate.

“She’s just blaming me constantly, man, for everything.”

MAFS fans immediately came to Bronte’s defence on Twitter.

Viewers called out Harrison’s lies and even urged anybody who was seeing similarities in their own relationships to “get out now”.
