Reality TV pulls in wannabe actors, influencers and models like moths to a flame, and the Married at First Sight Australia 2023 cast is definitely no exception.

We’ve already seen background appearances from “fame hungryBachie alum, Instagram influencers galore and fan faves who are a little too good to be true.

Before Married at First Sight 2023 even premiered, some cast members were caught reaching out on Instagram for brand deals and sponsorships. Yikes!

So, here are ALL the Married at First Sight 2023 cast members looking for “love“… from their newfound adoring fans.

Shannon Adams

Let’s start with former child star Shannon Adams.

He’s no stranger to the small screen having appeared on Neighbours, Blue Heelers and Rush.

Shannon is also a model and even went up against Love Island Australia‘s Maurice Salib for Manhunt Australian Male Model of the 2019 title.

He also appeared in a promo for Love Island alongside Sophie Monk.

Let’s just say that his StarNow Profile is popping off!

Jesse Burford

Unsurprisingly, Married at First Sight‘s Jesse Burford is also an undercover actor.

On LinkedIn, the TV villain claims that he was “destined” to have a career in the entertainment industry because he’s “been on stage” since he was 11 years old.

As well as his wedding celebrant career, Jesse also works as a pub quiz master.

Layton Mills

He might be an established businessman, but Layton Mills has appeared on a suspicious amount of reality TV shows.

The newly-minted groom first tried his luck on First Dates Australia in 2016.

As revealed in episode 253 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the TV groom also appeared on Wipeout Australia in 2009, sporting a pink “lucky headband”, which he was all too enthusiastic to reveal was “hand-sewn”.

The groom is the founder and director of several pharmaceutical companies that produce cannabinoid-based medicines. He even appeared on The Project and Sky News to discuss these ventures in 2018.

Adam Seed

Similarly, Adam Seed‘s appearance on Married at First Sight isn’t his first reality TV stint.

In fact, it’s also not his second or his third. It will be his fourth!

He’s already featured on several UK series, including Coach Trip and Dinner Date and Celebrity Ex in the City.

Ollie Skelton

Oliver “Ollie” Skelton already has an extensive media resume as a voiceover artist and radio presenter.

The 27-year-old groom studied broadcast journalism at Edith Cowan University in Perth and has been working at Southern Cross Austereo (ya know, one of the biggest entertainment media companies in the country) for the past two years.

He also has an extensive resume of voiceover work for national campaigns and international brands, including Corona, Kmart, Mrs Mac’s Pies and Koala Mattress.

Melinda Willis

Melinda Willis identifies herself as an “entrepreneur” and CEO, but she’s also already a certified influencer with an impressive 150,000 followers on Instagram (even before of the January 30 premiere).

She also has a profile on the talent booking platform The Right Fit and her Instagram has numerous sponsored posts.

Melinda also travelled internationally competing in health, fitness and beauty pageants.

Janelle Han

With 500,000 followers on TikTokalready, Janelle Han‘s impressive social media presence actually makes us believe that she is looking for love.

Seriously, think about it! Gaining an extra couple-of-thousand followers from being in the Married at First Sight cast isn’t going to boost her fame THAT much when she’s already got a coveted blue tick.

Janelle was first launched into viral fame after transforming into different characters from Netflix’s Korean survival horror show Squid Game back in 2021.

“I made a few Squid Game videos, and I think they got like 40 million views… That’s what really made me,” Janelle told Perth Now.

Lyndall Grace

Lyndall has spent the better part of a decade developing her music career around Perth (remind you of anyone?), but now she’s looking for love and an international audience.

Lyndall’s professional singing career started about ten years ago, launching her YouTube channel in 2013.

Bronte Schofield

Similarly, Bronte Schofield is also already an influencer of sorts, with 15,000 followers and several collabs under her belt.

She’s also applied for Love Island Australia a couple of times in the past but was never successful.

And no matter what you think of her leaked voice memos, it’s hard to deny that she knows what makes good TV.

Tahnee Cook

MAFS 2023 sweetheart Tahnee Cook gained (niche) fame after organising several One Direction dance-offs in Sydney, which were even featured on the Today show.

She is also the host of Like Us Girls podcast and can be spotted at several fashion influencer events.
