Love Island UK 2023 is shaking things up again with former Love Island Australia stars Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters entering the villa.

In 2022, the franchise introduced the return of past contestants to the villa. The UK iteration brought back 2018 star Adam Collard, while 2021 Aussie winners Tina Provis and Mitch Hibberd reentered our local version.

However, we were yet to see cross-contamination of stars from international spin-offs of Love Island. Well, until now, at least.

When it was revealed that two Australian alums would join Love Island UK, many fans quickly assumed Callum Hole would be one of them.

And TBH, this is totally valid given his popularity and the fact he’s a Wales native. However, looks like mans is too busy getting into nightclub brawls to appear on TV again…

The Sun soon quashed these rumours anyway, revealing on January 20 that Jessie and Aaron have crossed the pond for a second chance at reality TV love.

To quickly recap: Jessie appeared on Season Two of Love Island Australia, leaving the show all loved up with Todd Elton. However, the duo soon split once the cameras stopped rolling.

Similarly, Aaron spent most of Season Three coupled up with Jessica Velkovski, but they also broke up soon after filming wrapped.

Love Island UK insiders call Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters ‘professional bombshells’

The Sun reported that Jessie and Aaron have been flown “over 10,000 miles to cause mayhem in Cape Town”. And umm, how do we get that gig?!

Unsurprisingly the duo are set to cause YUGE drama, with an insider dishing that the Aussie imports leave little to be desired when it comes to Islanders.

“The two new international recruits are essentially professional bombshells and won’t just shake up the villa — they’ll blow it apart,” they said.

“Both of them bed-hopped, bonked and had blistering rows on their seasons of Love Island.”

Adding that they’re “going to create explosive telly”, the source said Jessie and Aaron are “exactly what this series needs”. Hear, hear!
