With Love Island Australia 2022 pretty much all wrapped up, we can’t help but wonder what the couples from the show’s past seasons are up to now.

Compared to the cheating scandals, walkouts, and intruder “Bomb Squads” and the since-omitted Casa Amor, Love Island Australia 2022 has been relatively tame.

Returning to post-villa life is a YUGE adjustment for many couples, and whilst some flourished, others cracked under the pressures of the outside world.

We have done the ultimate Insta deep-dive to find out where the couples from Love Island seasons past are at now.

Maybe this will give us some insight into the future of the current contestants?

Josh Packham and Anna McEvoy

Despite being crowned the winners of Love Island Australia season 2 in 2019, Josh Packham and Anna McEvoy only lasted a little over a year before announcing their split in November 2020.

Love Island wasn’t about to be Josh’s last crack at reality TV fame.

He and twin brother Luke Packham (who was also on season 2 of Love Island Australia) surprised fans after being announced as contestants on The Block: Fans Vs Faves in 2021.

The boys came in second place after a tone of hard work and, of course, serving up a splash of drama (and by drama we mean the shows biggest cheating scandal, like, ever).

Anna has also had quite the impressive career of her own since the show ended.

The model-turned-influencer currently hosts the Where’s Your Head At? podcast, alongside fellow Love Island alum Matt Zukowski.

On the podcast, she discussed her breakup with Josh, revealing she was surprised they even won since they both entered the villa as intruders.

Anna is currently engaged Michael Staples, with the businessman popping the question in Canguu in October 2022.

Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp

Season one winners Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp have proven to be one of the most controversial couples in Love Island Australia history so far.

The pair won us over in the very first season of Love Island Australia in 2018, walking away with the massive $50k prize at the end.

BUT it turned out that Grant actually was actually a dog! He had girlfriend on the outside the whole time and was using the show to promote his clothing brand – WTAF!

The pair called it quits only two weeks after leaving the villa, and poor Tayla was left absolutely devastated.

She is doing much better now though, and has even snagged herself a hunky AFL beau!

Tayla has since wed Richmond AFL star Nathan Broad in a STUNNING ceremony on October 17, 2022.

Grant is still with *secret* girlfriend Lucy, with the pair sharing daughter Charli, with another bub on the way.

He also appeared on the inaugural season of The Challenge Australia 2022 — A.K.A the show that flopped BIG TIME.

Josh Moss and Amelia Marni

Finally, one couple who DID work — for a time…

After finishing in third place on Season One of Love Island Australia, Joss Moss asked Amelia Marni to officially be his girlfriend!

However, after nearly four years together, the beloved duo announced in May that they’d call time on their romance.

While Josh is yet to reveal whether he’s moved on romantically, he did nab a pretty sweet gig hosting Love Island 2022‘s aftershow, I’ve Got a Text With Josh and Flex.

Amelia has since announced that she is officially exclusive with the mystery beau So Dramatic! exclusively revealed in October.

“It’s crazy, I’ve been in this relationship for a few months now, but I haven’t actually spoken about it,” the reality star said on her Chick’s Unhinged podcast on December 5,

“Now we’re definitely exclusive, we’re in a relationship – mummy has a new boyfriend!”

Jessie Wynter and Todd Elton

After a rocky start in the villa, Jessie Wynter was smitten when bomb Todd Elton walked in.

Coming fourth overall in the 2019 season, the couple unfortunately couldn’t make it work outside the villa. Jessie announced via Instagram that the pair had split in February 2020.

Now, fan fave Jessie has become a total TikTok sensation.

She has dropped some serious bombshells about what goes on behind the scenes on the show and pretty much served as Love Island’s unofficial TikTok correspondent in 2021.

Jessie also dropped some extra insider info on episode 123 of the So Dramatic! podcast, including that she used to date two-time Love Island hunk Mitch Hibberd!

Since splitting with Jessie, Building Project Manager Todd has maintained a relatively low profile (aside from a few cheeky ab pics on the ‘gram).

Matt Zukowski and Cartier Surjan

Season Two runners-up Matt Zukowski and Cartier Surjan sadly split shortly after the show wrapped.

Matt swiftly moved on with The Bachelor Australia’s chaotic queen Kiera Maguire, but is currently single and focused on the Where’s Your Head At? podcast.

Matt and Anna were forced to deny rumours that they were faking a relationship to promote the pod.

The rumours were sparked by Kiera Maguire, who told Daily Mail Australia “I guess some people will do anything for clout.” Uuuum Ouch!

Matt has since been reported to be dating Genevieve Ward.

Cartier may not have found lasting love with Matt in the villa, but is currently dating NRL star Jake Simpkin.

Cartier began dating the West Tigers player in March 2021, launching the relationship with a sweet Instagram snap captioned “My ♥️.”

She also continues to model and runs the cutest Instagram account EVER dedicated to her dog Honey Bee.

Eden Dally and Erin Barnett

Season One runners-up Eden Dally and Erin Barnett left the villa determined to make their romance work.

However, the pair announced their split shortly after the finale via a joint statement on Instagram.

”We wanted to share with you that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways.”

Eden has a new partner, Cyrell Paule, who made a name for herself on Season Six of Married at First Sight Australia and most recently, The Challenge. The couple now shares a baby boy, Boston.

Erin is in a long-term relationship with 45-year-old Mick Russell, who regularly features on her Instagram.
