Australian Big Brother VIP alum Lil Ahenkan (best known as Flex Mami) is set to star alongside Love Island Australia alum Josh Moss in a new Afterparty-esque interview web series.
The 26-year-old influencer took to Instagram on October 27 to confirm her new TV gig alongside the former fan-fave contestant, who finished in third place alongside Amelia Marni in 2018.
The new web series is not the Afterparty we know; however, with the new co-hosts launching a brand new online-only show called I’ve Got a Text with Josh and Flex.
Unlike the live talk show that was hosted by Abbie Chatfield in 2021, the new series will be prerecorded and only available on 9Now – just like the main Love Island Australia itself, which airs from October 31.
What Will Flex Mami and Josh Moss Get Up to on Their New Love Island Australia Web Series?
A new ep is set to release every Thursday night, and there’s already one available to watch RN (like, before the main show has even started).
“Been keeping this a secret for a while now,” Flex admitted on Instagram before adding: “We rant, debrief, unpack and gossip about all things Love Island Australia, show you exclusive content and interview special guests AND Ex Islanders.”
As reported in episode 225 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an insider confirmed that Josh had flown to Mallorca, Spain, to conduct interviews with the Islanders during filming.
Josh had also been bread-crumbing fans with a new gig, teasing that he has “got a big announcement coming very soon”, along with a snap of his time in Europe.
Josh Moss Isn’t the Only Love Island Australia Star to Return In 2022
While Josh is only returning to the show in a hosting role, two of the series’ most beloved Islanders have reentered the villa for a second shot at love.
As reported in episode 223 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Love Island 2021’s Tina Provis and Mitch Hibberd are BACK!
