CONFIRMED: Love Island Australia 2021’s Tina Provis and Mitch Hibberd have headed back into the villa to find love…again.
ICYMI: Even though they continued dating after winning last year’s season, the couple broke up in February 2021 before Mitch moved on with half of the Love Island alumni. Still, they’ve both remained relatively single.
As reported in episode 223 of the So Dramatic! podcast, #Titch headed to Spain to join the new cast; however, since they haven’t been announced yet, we just know they will be one hell of a BOMB!
According to a VERY reliable source, the pair — who disappeared off socials for ALL of August — will be joining the new Islanders in Mallorca. And let’s pray to the reality TV gods that there will be fireworks since their split was less than amicable…
“Tina and Mitch are also going to be bombs this season,” the Insider dished. “They enter the show midway through.”
The source revealed that this was a “first for Love Island Australia” as “they’ve never had past contestants go back into the villa.”
“Producers are obviously hoping for fireworks between the pair, which they’re hoping results in ratings.”
But wouldn’t it be a YUGE plot twist if this publicity stunt backfired and they got back together? What if they actually won?! Holy sh*t! All of our Christmases would certainly have come at once!
Back in April, the pair were spotted in Melbourne looking a lil’ cozy. Friends with benefits? Plotting their return?
As revealed in May, during episode 189 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an eagle-eyed fan revealed that they saw the pair looking “pretty close”.
“They were sitting together when I [saw] them last in Melbourne,” they dished to host Megan Pustetto.
When Megan questioned them about how recent the sighting was, the source said it was “like four weeks ago”.
Tina and Mitch Announced their Split In February 2022
On February 15, Tina took to Instagram to announce her split from Mitch, who posted his statement soon after.
However, one So Dramatic! spy slid into our DMs several days before the announcement with knowledge of their breakup.
On top of that, she spilled the piping hot tea about Mitch hooking up with their fellow cast mate, Emily Ward.
ICYMI: Mitch and Emily had a brief flirtation in the Love Island villa before the former footballer decided his heart was actually with Tina.
“Mitch and Tina have [broken] up, and Mitch [hooked up] with Emily from Love Island last night,” the source said on February 12. But how does this insider know such juicy goss?
“I have a friend that’s friends with Ben [Giobbi] from Love Island,” they confessed. “[Emily] also slept with Ben last weekend.
“I can’t even make this up.”
All we can say is, F*CK YES PRODUCERS! You gone and goddamn done it!
