“I don’t really talk about Todd and me ever,” she admitted.

“We were in Melbourne and everything was all well and good, and I ended up going to Sydney to stay with Cartier [Surjan]. And I think that time apart like I personally thought it was fine, but Cartier was like, ‘Jessie, you are letting this guy walk all over you’.”

According to the 25-year-old, being away from Todd “opened [her] eyes up a little bit.”

“There are a few things that were upsetting me. Like he was going out for coffee with his ex and stuff, and I was just like, ‘Yeah, that’s fine.’ But, then when I had another female give me their perspective on it, it was very different.

“We just kind of had a conversation and that was it. Very sudden.

Jessie Wynter and Todd Elton’s Love Island Australia 2019 Journey

Jessie rose to fame on the second season of Love Island Australia and while a stunning pocket rocket with a big personality, her time on the show wasn’t easy.

Before recoupling with her final match, Jessie coupled up with Maurice Salib, Eoghan Murphy and Gerard Majda.

However, when building project manager Todd arrived, the pair quickly became smitten with one another.

By the end of the season, Jessie and Todd placed fourth in the final and subsequently took their romance off-screen, before ending it in February 2020.

Jessie first broke the news on Instagram.

“This post isn’t easy to write and isn’t something I want to be confirming but sadly, yes the relationship between Todd and I is over,” she said.

“I’ve loved every minute spent with Todd from the moment he walked into that villa and absolutely adore him but I guess some things just aren’t meant to be.

“I know that coming off of a reality television show people will have their opinions which is a position I put myself in but please be mindful that at the end of the day we have feelings and breakups aren’t easy.

“I’m also really sorry for not updating you guys earlier, I just wanted to take some time to let it all sink in before having to let everyone know.”

She added: “Thank you so much to those who have supported us over the past few months, it honestly means the world to me. 💖”

Jessie Wynter Confirmed She Dated Love Island’s Mitch Hibberd

Former Love Island Australia 2020 star Jessie Wynter has confirmed she dated Mitch Hibberd earlier in the year.

Speaking on the same podcast, the reality star revealed that she and Mitch went “way back”.

“He’s actually a Tassie boy, so he went to school down here in Tassie,” she said, before adding: “He was in Sydney earlier this year and we were obviously spending some time together.”

According to Jessie, the 25-year-old had mentioned that he was interested in going on Love Island Australia.

“Did I think that would happen?” she asked. “I didn’t think he’d be the type to go on it.”
